i made this card for the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #61; Life's a Beach! I only have one set of Summer/Beach Stamps here, and all other related stamps are on the way from Guam (US territory), the tropical island i lived for 10 years... i miss that island & weather very much, and of course, a year in Hawaii also... i can make summer/beach/under the water/ocean cards anytime, all year around!!!

Pink with Green & Brown Challenge
I made this card for Simon Says Challenge; Pink (or blue) with Green & Brown challenge. The stamp is from Hero Arts, 2010. I used MS's border punch, for both sides to make a lace strip. I'm attaching the pic. i took at nearby flower shop, a short time before i found this stamp, and i thought i had to get it when i saw it in the stamp store!! :-)

House mouse RAK to my friend
cuz the little birdie told me that she was under the weather, and i wanted to cheer her up, with this cute funny faces! :-) and she asked me how i did on the sky, the sun peeking out from the clouds. I used Masking technique. I have a Cloud punch, and i punched them out. I used repositional glue, to attach those clouds on the card stock first, and stamped the sun over the punched out clouds. Then i did sponging to apply blue to make the sky. After it was done, i took those clouds off from the card stock. I also used glossy accent on ice cubes & lemons. It doesn't show well on the pic.... i was very happy to find that ribbon, great match to this image!! and it was just a dollar! ;-)

Birthday cards for Men & an extra!
First card is for Hockey player & fan, and the second card is for an older man. This was the fisrt time i used Jolee's boutique stickers on the card. The skate is a stamp. Inside of the second card, I stamped "Aged to perfection"! The additional card (the 3rd one) is the similar design, made it for another older lady, but it's 3-d on wine glass & wine bottle, and gave a glitter on "happy birthday". I enjoyed coloring wine cards, with watercolor pencils.

The Play Date Cafe Challenge - PDCC #27
When i saw these colors of this week's challenge, it reminded me of Guam right away... Guam is a tropical paradise & US territory in the Pacific. The island is just gorgeous!! These 3 color combination reminds me of White Sand, blue sky, and blue/emerald green (or this case, light minty green) ocean. Also i remembered i bought this ribbon, the color of blue & green, wanting to use for Ocean/beach themed cards, so here they are! And i didn't use any other colors than those 3 colors !! :-) A bit of explanation on the cards here. I used Vellum on the front, and on underneath CS, i did embossing. And that's why it's a bit fuzzy looking, but toned the white embossing down, to make the color, more "off white".
I luv "color theme challenges" but unfortunately my old digital camera doesn't show the actual colors very well...:-( someday, hopefully i'll be able to buy a better camera... also, i realized these CHALLENGE becomes a big CHALLENGE since i don't have all my stamping supplies here... but i'll do my best :-)
