Happy Belated Birthday 2

Aloha~

I'm still trying to catch up on things... like this birthday card.. At least her birthday is in this month, so I guess it is better than never... like I stamped that saying inside...

Main dies are from Honey Bee Stamps. I bought this a year ago, and now, for the first time, I'm using it! lol. That happens quite often to me..😅I added the birthday cake from Poppy Stamps, and cat from IO. The background of Ginko paper is from Japan. It's like between Origami paper we all know and vellum. So beautiful! It comes in two designs; this Ginko leaves and Maple leaves. I chose Ginko leaves one this time, adhered to off white card stock. The recipient is another girl from Coffee card swap group, so I chose this design.

Inside, I stamped the "better latte than never" from Essential by Ellen. Then, I attached small "latte" sticker from my sticker stash. Then, I used LF's stamps, "belated birthday".

Hope this card will reach the recipient in a couple of days!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Hope your week has started out fantastic! Love Eve

Coffee card for April swap.

Aloha,

My mind was (still is) full of Cherry Blossoms, and I planned to include cherry blossoms somewhere on my coffee themed card for this month's swap but failed. ...now I have really "dark color" coffee card. lol I still like it, though. What do you think?

I used this Impression Obsession stamp set for the first time. I enjoyed stamping and heat embossing them. I used Echo park stamp for the sentiment in the center, and diecut, using Pink Fresh Studio's Blanket stitched square die.

This is inside of this card. The sentiment is from the same stamp set of Impression Obsession, and I used Washi tape on the bottom.

Hope you are all having a great weekend! SPAM jam is going to take place in Waikiki, and a whole week of "Merrie Monarch festival" in Hilo. Every week and weekend, something is going on in this state, esp. in Honolulu county. They recently passed the bill to LIMIT the number of events, in Waikiki because people live there, too...great for tourists, though.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Love, Eve
