Simon Says ...Silver, Blue, White!

... and this is my 3rd card submission! Apparently i made more christmas cards in these colors for most obvious colors in this month! I get inspired by the NATURE the most, and Early Snow & cold December in this area this year made me to make cards with "snow" a lot... I luv to make Christmas cards in Red and Green, and i remember i made those colored cards back in July for a couple of "Christmas in July" blog challenges... I don't know when was the last time the temp. went up to 32F... so snow which has fallen early this month still stays on the ground! And looking at the ground every day for last couple of weeks, i got inspired more for making cards with these colors. I'm mailing this christmas card to my online friend in Michigan, Elizabeth who sent me my winning of her blog candy a couple of months ago. I hardly win anything if somebody choose the random number, and i didn't know i won her blog candy for 3 days after she announced it on her blog, and she tried very hard to reach me! lol! I was soooo happy when i found that out! Anyways i made this for her, and realized again, that i could submit to Simon says challenge this week too! :-) I used Frosted lace stickles on the ground (under the chick's feet). The stamp is from Penny Black and Elizabeth is in PB DT, so i decided to use this image which i recently received from another online friend of mine. (thanks Josie!) I've written "jingle bells" in silver gel pens, as if these chicks are singing the song! :-) I used cuttlebug's snowflakes folder, used Stickles here & there, to give some more sparkles on the already white shimmery CS.

...Another House Mouse christmas card to my local friend!

I made this card to my local friend, Linda M. She likes "Cute" too, so i thought this would be really good, to mail it to her. I first layered the brown mouse & candle with the candle holder with the grey mouse. Then I colored grey mouse again, on the candle holder. I should've taken the pic. from the side... it's already mailed out so i can't... I used distress ink around the edge of the main image & the twine. I used another color of distress ink to color the off white lace border. I used the glossy accent on the candle's wax dropping and the mouse's eye ball!, and yellow glitter stickles on the candle. I used white liquid pearl to make decoration on the candle holder, just for fun! lol!

Another House Mouse christmas card to my friend!

I used this stamp for another challenge a couple of weeks ago, but I altered the image a little. This time, I really wanted to use this image as the way it is, and I did :-) I made this card to my HM group friend; Cathy K. We both don't like snow but we both luvs our Mouse so dearly! :-) I uploaded the two pics., so you can see the card better. I used glossy accent to christmas lights cords, to give a look of vinyl around the real cords. I used stickles "frosted lace" on the igloo. I really like this special stickles with texture. I put the tiny light blue gems on the snowflake images on the sentiment dies. What I luv the most about this card is what i did, to "around" christmas lights, to give a look of "Lighting" :-)

RAK & HM Monday Challenge #84 "Oh Charming Christmas Tree"

I made this card, planning to send to one of my HM group friend, Karen A. but had the theme in mind, to submit to House Mouse & Friends Monday blog; "oh Charming Christmas Tree" challenge. I colored the star on the tree, using Smooch SPRITZ; Gold. I colored the tree in watercolor pencis first but also wanted to add some sparkling, so i used Smooch SPRITZ; Green. I colored the mouse in water color pencils. I sponged the baby blue color around the mouse. Then I stamped a tiny snowflakes in Brilliance Starlight silver. Brilliance ink has been one of my most FAV. & most USED inks cuz of its color & it does dry even they are pigment ink, rather fast, not to mention, Archival :-) I put glitter around the circle of the 2 images. I embossed the background paper, using snowflakes cuttlebug folder, and glittered here & there, all over the background paper.

House Mouse Christmas Card

I made this card to my HM online friend, Valda. The charm "JOY" was plain in silver, so i adhered the glitter on Holly branch. I attached the new addition to my stash of ribbons; Twine! Those Swirls are stickers! I used Stickles/Frosted lace as snow. I had 3 different Clear color with glitter, in Stickles but not this Frosted lace. This one is different from others, because it gives more texture than other colors. I luv this stamp, although i wound never do "Snow Angel", but rather "white Sand Angel" I would be doing! LOL! I'm also posting this on HM & friends' blog. ps. It is 16F at noon, today.. brrr...

HM Birthday Card

I made this card to my HM online friend, Sue Kment. We "met" in House Mouse yahoo group about 8 years ago. I have only a couple of HM birthday stamps, and i know she's seen & made lots of HM cards in the past, so i had to be REALLY creative/different to surprise her, and i came up with this idea. :-) This is just one small "party mouse" stamp, and i stamped repeatedly, and it looks more festive! :-) I used Souffle white pen to make "marks" on all balloons. I attached silver cords to balloons under the sentiment. For others, i handdrew the strings for balloons with the silver gel pen. I used liquid applique for the icing on the cake. I drew the ribbon on the present with the gold gel pen. For the candle, and mice's hats, i used glitters, in different colors. What i didn't notice when i took this photo was that the tiny pink paper scrap is attached on the mouse's hand on the right hand of the card... i think it got there with the static or something. It shouldn't be there. Hope it's not there when Sue receives the card....

Tilda ~ Christmas card

I made this Tri-shutter card for my online friend, Sue Seidlinger who gave me this image! (Thanks again, Sue!) I enjoyed making this card, because i finally got to use those Pretty Christmas Papers! lol! I really wanted to attach some christmas ornaments so i hanged those stamped & cut christmas ornament images, decorating with liquid pearls & glitter with strings. The "grey" colored parts on this card are actually in "SILVER" but can't tell from this pic.. I used glossy accent on her black dress shoes for the shiney look :-) I'll make another Tri-shutter card when i get Pretty Papers again! :-) It was fun making it, and hope Sue will like it :-)

EIC 116 #2

This is my second card for EIC 116, and the pic./product i was inspired by, from the shop of Heartsong is below my card pic. #2. I used the glossy card stock. I colored with different colors of distress inks to make sky and beach/sand. I used Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp this Inkadinkado image to make sure the right image would be stamped on the right location, using the distress ink again. I used pop up dots for the main image to give a bit of depth to the card.

EIC 116 #1

This week's challenge at Etsy Inspired is from the shop of Heartsong. I made 2 cards for this week's challenge. This is #1. The pic./product i was inspired by in Heatsong shop is below my card's picture. This deer stamp is from Lawn Fawn. The snow flakes & sentiment is from the same stamp set. I used a piece of yarn on the deer's neck, which Lawn Fawn wrapped my purchase with :-) (thank you!) I like to keep those little embellishments from all kind of things, packages, etc. I put glossy acccet on the deer's nose. I used Souffle pen on the stamped snowflakes, to give a bit of character. I drew the deer's footprints on the snow, using a marker. I used pop up dots for the deer, to give a bit of depth to the card.
