Happy Mother's Day!

Time is flying, and mother's day is almost here. Here are my 2 Mother's day cards. One is for my mom, and another one is for my Godmother who's been there for me ever since.

For mom,
I used Altenew stamps set, WeR memory keeper's embossing folder for the background, and those $1 stamp at Michael's for the sentiment. I wrote Happy Mother's day inside of the card.

For my Godmother,
I used TH's stencil for the focal image, hand-wrote the sentiment (I need a nice sentiment STAMP! ;) ), and used viva decor's pearl pen for the little white pearls.

A little early Happy Mother's day to all mothers and godmothers.

Happy Anniversary!

My best friend and her husband is celebrating 21 years of marriage :)

I used TH stencil & embossing paste, colored the raised parts with markers. I used Lawn Fawn stitch die, old Penny Black sentiment stamp, and viva decor pearl pen.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Have a relaxing Sunday.

It's a Girl!

My former roommates had their 1st baby. It's a Girl!

I used Lawn Fawn stamp sets and background paper. I once lived in Australia, and I was very excited when Lawn Fawn made a stamp set, called "Critters in Down Under". Australia has many unique animals and birds :) I colored kangaroos with Zig watercolor brushmarkers, but used Prisma colored pencils for grasses.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Have a relaxing Sunday.

"belated" Happy New Year ~ 2017!

Caught up with uploading my 1st card this year ~ 2017. :)

I used all stamps and a die from Lawn Fawn. I also tore a grey CS, after embossing with the clear shimmer EP, by hand.

I just saw someone's posting a lot of snow STILL, but in Canada. ;)

Hope you all are enjoying a beautiful spring day, wherever you are!

3 New Valentine's day cards

Slowly catching up to post my cards. I made these 3 Valentine's day cards this February.

I used Penny Black stamps mainly for all these cards.

The background is stamped repeatedly by the Altenew, a small "tiny hearts background" stamp. Here is the inside of the card. I made these 3 cards at the same time, and did die cuttings on colored & designed CS. I didn't wanna waste those left over CS, so I kinda planned to use them for inside, die cutting accordingly, like you can see them below. Mixed and Matched :) "Ink bottle and the pen" stamps are from Lawn Fawn's stamp set.

My 2nd card. I used Lawn Fawn's stitched die to make this card with a bit of interests, kinda matches with the stitches on the pillows this adorable cat is sleeping on :)
And the inside of the 2nd card.

3rd card. The die for the saying is from Lawn Fawn dies set.
Inside of the 3rd card. I used wink of stella to give a bit shimmer to the red heart.

Thank you for stopping by to see my cards.

Hope you are having a nice Easter Sunday!

Happy "belated" St. Patrick's day!

I made this card before St. Patrick's day but hadn't had time to upload til now. So here it is.

I used an old Darcie's pot of gold stamp. Also the rainbow is from an old Darcie's stamp. I just love these stamps. Background is done, with sponging technique, using Lawn Fawn's cloud dies set, masking. Other stamp images are all from Lawn Fawn.

Hope you all are having a nice Easter Sunday!

Wish we could have some Coffee time together...

I miss chatting with my best friend from college. She is a successful career woman, works full time, mother and wife. Her daughter is still in high school, so she is extremely busy. I work full time, so I understand. I miss my college time when only thing we worried about was our grades. Besides studying time, we were rather free. And living half around the world away doesn't help, either. Usually I hear that after sending their kids to college, the parents would have more free time. So maybe someday soon... I made this card to that friend.

I used Simon Says Stamp set and Lawn Fawn stamps set for the background. The little disposal coffee cup with the lid die is from Simon Says Stamp. I used this die, 3 times on different colored CS, so that I could get eyes, mouth, arms and heart :) I colored the lid and colored the coffee sleeves. Saying dies are also from Lawn Fawn dies set, and found the saying in stamps sets in different companies stamp sets. I always love to make "coffee" themed card, so I often buy the embellishments whenever I find, under the theme, and the ribbon was one of them. :)

Hope you all are having a nice spring day!

March Birthday card

I know, it's already April... but I've been making cards, and haven't had time to upload them, so little by little, I'm uploading those I've made and sent out.

I used Hero Arts Stencil for the background. "Happy Birthday" saying die is from LawnFawn. This was sent to my friend in House Mouse group. It was a long way to get delivered but those little sequins survived on "rough mail ride"!

And this is inside of the card.
The image is from House Mouse designs, too but used their bear, Gruffies stamp. Saying is from C.C. Designs ("Birthday's"). Never heard of this company before, but when I was browsing Joann.com's page online, I found it. They are red rubber only stamps set.

Thank you for stopping by to see my card :) Happy Easter!

April Birthday card

Happy Easter!

It's for a male friend whom I sometimes call "funny monkey" (!! in a nice way. wz some love).

I used Lawn Fawn stamps set and dies. I love their "critter" series. For the background, I used their "cloud" dies, to use them as "masking" to make a sky. I didn't buy the coordinating dies to this stamps set, so I used scissors but their images aren't intricate to cut. I used 3D foam tape to adhere some of the leaves, to give some dimensions.

Hope you all are having a wonderful Easter.
