Merry Christmas!

"Mele Kalikimaka"!
I made this card a couple of weeks ago, and finally had a time to post it. But actually a great timing, cuz I saw this scene today at the beach πŸ˜‰He must be really tired after the hard work last night! He deserves some vacation time here in Hawaii!
Hope y'all are having a great day with many blessings. 😊

Coffee card for December swap

Hope you all are having a great holiday season! I still can't believe Christmas is only a week away! I have several new stamps for this season, but I won't have time to use them all... in fact, I have a couple of dies I bought a year ago, and haven't used them yet. lol... Time surely is flying...

The recipient received my package so now I can post. 😊This is the card I made for this month's swap. I also signed up for another list, to add some gifts with the card for December, for the same swap group.
Here is my card.
I'd been using this background paper from Sunny studio so much, and the inspiration came from the paper. The recipients lives in MA and I stamped "Warmest Wishes for  happy holiday " inside of this card.
Happy Holidays!

Coffee card for November swap

I love Fall. Ok, we don't have REAL Fall where the leaves change colors but now we can feel "cold" in the air. Ok, our "cold" here doesn't even change the colors of leaves. .. lol. Anyways, my most fav. season in Virginia and the surrounding states.
Simple layout & design but the card gives the "cozy" feeling, thanks to this leading lady stamp set from Ellen H. I made a little slit above her cuff to insert two take out coffee cups. "One for me, one for YOU!" 😊
Here is the inside.

I can't believe November is half way through... Thanksgiving is a week away, and Christmas is a month away, then, 2019 is right around corner... most busy season for us, cardmakers & crafters!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Have a nice weekend, getting crafty!

Happy Halloween!! #2

My 2nd Halloween card. "Traditional" design for my best friend from college. I'd been wanting to use this cute background candy corn paper for a couple of years! lol And I could finally use "the puffy sticker" for the sentiment which I got from last year's SSS's Halloween kit. We all love puffy stickers but unless you have small children, it's hard to find the way to use them, but with this background paper, I thought this was perfect! With the dimension puffy sticker gave, I decided to use foam tapes under all these pumpkins.
I'm entering this card to SSS Wednesday challenge ~ Halloween/Spooky

Hope you'll all have fun and safe Halloween!

Happy Halloween! #1

Aloha~ I barely made two Halloween cards this year. Having a full time job limits the time for card making... This is for my godmother. This year, I've decided "cute" for Halloween 😊 I used the orange craft foam to give a bit of dimension under the white front panel, rather than placing all the foam tapes for small individual designs.
I'm going to enter this card to LFawnatics challenge~Bling it out. When they introduced the new sparkle cardstock, I knew what I was gonna use it for. 😊 All colors in this cardstock package is so beautiful!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.
Have a fun & safe Halloween! πŸŽƒEve

October Coffee card swap

Time surely flies. It's already October, and made this for the monthly swap.

All stamp images are from Lawn Fawn's new stamp set. The leaves are also Lawn Fawn's. This time of the year, Pumpkin spice is the thing in US. Since it's the swap for the month of October, I combined the image for the Halloween but not all the people enjoys Halloween, and I have no clue what kind of person the recipient is, I played safe 😊

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Have a nice weekend, everyone!
Eve who loves Pumpkin Spice ❤

September Coffee Card Swap

Again, I had to have this stamp set from Hero Arts as soon as it was introduced! Super cute! I love the sentiments, too ❤
In this busy life, we have to "take a paws", and drink coffee, OFTEN! πŸ˜‰

August coffee card swap

As soon as I saw this stamp set got released, I had to have it! lol Now I live in Hawaii, so I had to place HIM on a surfboard. I don't have a surfboard stamp, so I cut the yellow card stock into the shape of surfboard, stamped the design, and clear embossed it to give the natural shiny look on the surfboard. He had to wear the sunglasses. Hawaii's sun shine is bright! 😎 But I don't have a stamp for that, so I used black gel pen to draw the sunglasses. It turned out to be good cuz the gel pen also gave the shiny look, like a real sunglasses! It's always windy here so I used LF's swirl background die, and used MFS's sunray stencil. The coffee cup got the water splash, or can be the design of the cup! 😊 I had fun making this card, and will be using this stamp set more often in the future. The sentiments of this small stamp set are also funny!
Inside, it says, "Drink Coffee, Be AWESOME!" πŸ‘

Thank you for stopping by my blog today  😊

Updates : This was chosen by a Newton's Nook Design's designer as her fav. ❤

I had to have this stamp set cuz it cracks me up!πŸ˜† I love cats and not so much for the mermaid but "Purr-maid" cracks me up every time I say the word! LOL I plan to send this card to my friend who loves cats as much I do. I bet she would laugh as soon as she opens the envelope! The newest stamp set I got and had to play with it. Inky Paws challenge is the sketch challenge. I also had to  use their (Newton's Nook Design) new tropical fish stencil.
It's hard to capture on the photo but I used LF background paper, and colored in the stencil, with 3 colors of distress ink. I made that "wave", cutting from the scrap paper I made, using alcohol inks YEARS ago. I used wink of stella on shell top (bra), and mermaid scales & fins. I stamped two kinds of bubbles from NND's another set, on the card base, and used perfect pearls to give that shimmer look. That's why on the right top corner shows that color (but all of the stamped bubbles images were dusted with perfect pearls but the camera doesn't pick the color up...), and found a glittered shell embellishment in my stash.

July Coffee Card for the swap

Aloha~ NOT that I needed another paper. I have more than enough in my life time but as soon as I saw this 12 x 12 paper from BoBunny, I had to have it, and wanted to use it. For colors, I thought I could use it for my July Coffee Swap card I needed to make, but it was hard to find the right sentiment. So, I used the sentiment on the paper, and inside, it says, "But First, COFFEE!". lol

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Thank you for stopping by my blog today.

Happy Birthday!

Updates : This was chosen by a Newton's Nook Design's designer as her fav. ❤

It's been a long while since I last posted my card on my blog. It's been very hectic due to the moving. Anyways, my best friend's birthday is coming up. She loves cats. She has two kitties.🐈 Inside, it says "Happy birthday"! She works very hard, and hope she will be able to relax on her birthday.

I love tabby/orange cat. One of my cats I had before is a tabby mix. All orange spots on white fur. I found him in a box on the street when I was in middle school and brought him home. He was like another human, how he acted & behaved. lol Loved him 😊
I made this beach parasol and beach towel in OUR college colors! I met this best friend of mine in college πŸ˜ŠπŸ’›πŸ’œ
I made a background paper using a wave stencil before die cutting waves, and add some shimmer using wink of stella pen. I used "shimmery" white paper for the clouds. It doesn't show much but "shimmer" is there! lol. I used the designed papers for the palm trees but added some water colors to make them look more to my taste

Inky Paws challenge is closing soon. The theme is "cute animals". I'm submitting this card.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Have a nice weekend, everyone!

Happy St. Patty's day!

I know, it's a bit early but before you know it, you'll be wearing, drinking, eating "'green"! lol
I made this card for Coffee loving peeps group swap. Hope this will bring the recipient good luck!

Also submitting SSS's Wednesday challenge, "Anything goes".

Hope y'all are having a great weekend!

Happy Valentine's day! #3 & #4

I made two more Valentine's day cards, one for my godmother and one for my best friend from college, as I always do 😊

I used Lawn Fawn stamp set and outside in stitched heart die and WeRmemory keeper's 3D embossing folder. I used foam adhesives for most of the stamped images, to give a bit of interest.

I used Lil'inker Designs Latte stamp set. As soon as I saw the stamp set a couple of months ago, I had to have it! lol 😊 Valentine's day sentiment is from Lawn Fawn. I used outside in stitched die for the heart, and small heart dies and sentiment die are from My Favorite Things. I used 3D embossing folder from WeRmemory keepers and used nuvo drops randomly, to give a bit of shimmer.

Hope you are having a nice week! Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

Happy Valentine's Day #2

This is to my dad in heaven. These two kitties are "father & daughter". 😊
A friend from my "house mouse family"(!!) recently sent me a package of goodies for my birthday. That had this Kitty with the heart die. I don't know who makes it but I love it!
I used Lawn Fawn's outside in stitched heart die and used WeR memory keeper's 3D embossing folder for the rectangle panel. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn. I used the stitched banner die from MFT stamp's blueprint die set for the sentiment, attached it with the foam adhesive to give a bit of dimension. It's a rather clean card but it's for my dad. He knows how much I love and miss him, without having too much embellishment. 😊

Hope you are having a nice week! Thank you for stopping by my blog today.

Get well wishes!

US mainland is having a cold winter this year, and the flu is raging more than usual... :( My Godmother e-mailed me that she got sick... I made this card quick, and it'll be mailed out tomorrow. Just wanted to cheer her up with beautiful blooming flowers!

I used Altenew stamps for flowers, and the sentiment is from Sparkle N Sprinkle, in the stamp set I recently received as a gift from my "house mouse friend" (!!) . I used white embossing powder for the sentiment. I used wink of stella to give shimmers to darker color of pink on flowers and green on leaves. I attached all stamped images with foam adhesives to give a bit of dimension to the card. I used WeRmemory 3D embossing folder to the inlaid oval card stock.

Praying for her fast recovery....

Thank you for stopping my blog today. Hope y'all had a nice weekend

Happy Valentine's day #1

Lawnfawnatics challenge is this Inspiration board. I needed to make a coffee theme swap card for February, and since I love Lawn Fawns' coffee stamp set, I combined the challenge with coffee theme 😊

I received this LOVE with 3-boxes die from one of my friend in my "house mouse family" (!!). Perfect timing, for Valentine's day theme! All stamps are from Lawn Fawn. I have this stamp set for over a year, and I love it! I used Lawn Fawn's outside in stitched heart die and used another paper to inlay inside of the heart cutout. I used WeR memory keeper's 3D embossing folder for the inlaid pink heart. I used glossy accents for the coffee beans, a tiny heart inside of the bubble speech, coffee & three brown hearts on the coffee cup. I used the champagne colored ink for the steam, and wink of stella for three red hearts on the spoon. oh, I used a stitched rectangle die from MFT stamp's blueprint die set. I love their blueprint die sets! They always come in handy! This card shows the love for Coffee, and, for Valentine's day! 😊 πŸ’•

When Feb.1st comes, I'm mailing this to my swap partner whom I don't know yet. Since February is the HEART month (!! πŸ’•), I decided to add a lot of hearts!

Hope you are having a nice weekend! Thank you for stopping by my blog today!

Coffee card swap Jan.2018

I joined the coffee card swap group for 2018. This is my first card. The recipient is in NJ, and east coast of US has recently experienced the Bomb Cyclone! It dropped to - 3 F (MINUS 3 F!) one morning in Virginia! That doesn't happen quite often in that area. Apparently US is having a cold winter, esp. at east coast. I thought I would send "WARM" wishes card to her. 😊
So, first, I stamped a BIG cup! LOL Then, I stamped a kitty stamp on it. I love kitties, and this is from one of my newest stamp set. I stamped steam with versa mark, dusted off with perfect pearls. I stamped "wood grain", lightly water colored. I used MFT stamp's sun ray stencil for the sun, and after coloring the stencil, I used wink of stella pen to give some "shimmer" to the sun rays. It's kind of hard to tell in the picture. I colored the BIG coffee mug with the same color as the stripe designed background paper from Lawn Fawn. Basically, I made a card for her to feel the warmth, just looking at it, in this cold winter. .. 😊 Hope I'm succeeded...πŸ˜‰

My new little succulent is in the back....

I'm submitting to SimonSaysStamp Wednesday blog challenge ~ Add a sentiment

Hope y'all have started a nice week. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. If you are having a cold winter, stay safe & warm!

Happy New Year!!

Well, time flies. A week past already, since 2018 has arrived. Realized that I forgot to send a new year greeting card to a friend, whom I thought I sent the Christmas card to.. apparently I forgot.. Good thing I realized now, still in January, the first month of 2018, so I guess it's ok.. πŸ˜… Here is my rather simple card.
I received this stripe paper as a freebie from Lawn Fawn in my last order, and I really liked it, esp. after coloring her dress, like the dress I have, mostly RED, and the red matched to the red stripes of the paper, so I had to use these together 😊 I love red heels, too. Who doesn't, right? πŸ˜‰ I used the foam tape for this lady to give a bit of dimension to the card. I also found a matching card stock in pink, to the pink stripes of the paper, and that made me happy! 😊
I used Viva decor's pearl pen for her pearl necklace.

I'm submitting Simonsaysstamp Wednesday challenge ~ Something new. This lady stamp set, Lawn Fawn paper and the sequins are new, as well as this card, happy "NEW" year. 😊

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.
Hope everyone has started a great 2018!
