Happy St. Patrick's Day #3

Yes, I DO love St. Patty's day and Four-leaf clovers. I have a fond memory with my mom, looking for a four-leaf clover from the clover patch in her garden when I was a child. πŸ’• I made this card for my BFF.

I used the same "girl" (Whimsy Stamps die set). For the sentiment, I used Waffle Flower stamp. The four-leaf dies are from Lawn Fawn. Making these cards makes me "happy" & "feel calm' in this chaotic world...

Happy St. Patrick's Day #2

Aloha~

This is for my godmother. I used Whimsy Stamps girl die set once again for the focal point. All other papers are from Echo Park. The sentiment which was heat embossed in white is from Lawn Fawn.

I added some accents using gold gel pen.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Hope you'll find some good things to start the new week! Love, Eve

Happy St. Patrick's Day ~ Coffee card swap

Aloha~

So, what do you think about this "Irish Coffee" for March card swap?!

I got this Girl die set from Whimsy Stamps and wanted to use it. First I made this card.

I dressed her up using the papers from Echo park. I let her hold "Irish coffee" in her hand for "good luck", I guess. lol That dies are from Newton's Nook Designs. I used "stickers" for "Irish coffee" word. The background is the stencil from Simon Says Stamps.

Hope the recipient will have a "lucky" day when she opens the envelope! πŸ€

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Hope you are having a great weekend! Love, Eve

UPDATES: I just realized that SSS Wednesday challenge is to use Whimsy stamps product. So, I decided to enter this card for the challenge. Background stencil is from SSS, so perfect! πŸ˜‰

Get well soon!

Unfortunately everybody gets old, and starts to injure themselves from falls... that happened to my godmother. In my whole life, I hardly made any "get well" card because by the time I mail them, they get better, due to the "long distance" mailing, most of the time...But, just in case, I have this House Mouse stamp, but never have used it before! As soon as she emailed me, I had time to make this card and mailed it. She was in the hospital for a week after the surgery, and she received it upon her release from the hospital. It's nothing fancy, esp. I made it in a couple of hours, mailed it asap. Very simple card but thanks to cute & warm House Mouse designs. It does the trick!

I know many of us & our families and friends are all getting old... I might start to make some more get well soon cards.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. It's almost weekend! Love, Eve

UPDATES: I just joined in the House Mouse Challenge with this card. I never meant to enter it but one of my very long time "mousie" friend suggested meπŸ’•. When I make a card for a challenge, I take more time and even if it gets a little bulky, I put more embellishments and layers but this one, I had to mail it ASAP, after getting a text from my godmother, and I didn't want it to get stuck on its way or get "destroyed" in the "USPS machines" , and made it rather flat. I even used Sheer organza ribbon for the knot to be rather flat. But as I mentioned in my comment, these mousies do the trick, every timeπŸ’• My god mother texted me that she was released from the hospital and received my card which made her happy. She's been a big fan of my handmade cards for decades!
