I saw this today on Hero Arts blog, the card with mini clothespins. I remembered i made a similar card back in March 2003, using my fav. hero arts stamps; santa's jacket, boots & hat, and i scanned it, saved it in my computer. The card with mouse is what i made. I used white fun flock on fuzzy parts of those three. I made this card, imagining the mouse relaxing on the beach after he helped santa, delivering the presents! I was living on the tropical island back then, so the scene was "the beach", with my fav. palm tree!...pic. is a bit different from other pics on my blog cuz back then, i didn't have a digital camera, but had a scanner. Now i don't have a scanner, but have a digital camera :-) (not a great one, though...)

Clean and Simple Stamping challenge 95
yes, again, my mind now is "4th of July", but i made enough "4th of July" card! lol This card is very simple but i followed the sketch as close as possible, and in reality, i'm planning to use this card for a military personel, ADDING something under "Bless the USA". I have plenty space there, to make this card More Personal. If i need more "4th of July" card, i'll stamp "happy 4th" :-)

HM Anniversary Card
I made this for my yahoo club friend's anniversary. She gave me this image a couple of months ago, and i decided to use it. She has a very long marriage to celebrate, and i thought these two mice lookedd so close to each other, great for the anniversary card :-) On the sec. pic. you can see Perfect Pearls on its steam from the tea pot. yes, i did place those tiny lavender color pearls one by one on the teapot!

today is... National Doughnuts Day!!
Recent years, when i think of Doughnuts, i remember Malasadas! It's Very Very Very Yummy!!! I bought this in Guam several years ago, when someone from Hawaii opened a store in Guam. When i lived in Hawaii, i learned it's VERY popular there. And yesterday, i learned there are many portuguese descendents in Hawaii, and it's a portuguese doughnut!! This is the recipe & pic.of Maladasas; http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Malasadas/Detail.aspx This doughnuts day reminded me of my childhood, when i lived in Tokyo... doughnuts with Sweet Red bean paste inside of these small doughnuts. It was also really good but haven't had one in ages...
