New school year has started...

I was inspired by the video I watched while I had been thinking of making a bookmark for my new book. I hardly make anything out of paper to myself but decided to make this for myself, and rather quick. It took less than half an hr to make this from choosing the right stamp (both the image & the size) to finish. When this stamp set from Lawn Fawn came out, I was so happy to get one, because I once lived in Australia. They have many different kinds of "cirtters", and this stamp set was perfect! But I hardly have the chance to use these stamps...even this "famous" Koala bear "downunder", this was the first time to use it. I've been really liking "shaker" cards since it became popular several years ago because it just makes me happy and hope it would, for the recipients, too, and this case, myself! 😉

I tried to imitate the designs of Aborigine's boomerang, using white gel pen. I made this quick, no foam tape, just strong adhesive, so it's pretty flat, great for the bookmark. These days, there are different ways of making "shaker" mechanism, and  many different kinds of contents you can place inside the shaker window.

Since Lawn Fawnatics is having a challenge; cards for kids, I'm submitting this. School has started, and Lawn Fawn's "critter" stamps are also appropriate for kid's cards, incld. myself, "kid" at heart! 😉

Hope y'all are having a relaxing Sunday evening...
Eve
