I luv Paper Piecing! So much Fun! BUT my stamps are very limited to do good paper piecing, esp. the companies Simon Says carries. This is the stamp i chose. It's Penny Black. I'm not sure you can tell all which i did paperpiercing, from this pic. Well, the largest part is the table cloth. I matched with the backgrond paper. Others?? All 5 Gift Bags! oh my! Those were very small to cut out! For christmas tree border, i used a piece of Silky Red Ribbon underneath, to give a bit of soft, but shiny look instead of regular card stock. I used my fav.! Sakura Quick Glue pen to draw the edge of the circle cut out with the sentiment, red-glittered it! I drew the silver earrings & the necklace for a blond girl, and gold earrings & the necklace for brown hair girl, using gel pens. This stamp wasn't meant for Christmas time, which i can tell from the original coloring but when i started to paperpierce them, i found more Christmas design & color papers which fitted well. As usual??, i used 3D glue dots for sentiment & the main image, but used thicker ones for the main image.

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #76 ~ a Photo
As soon as i saw this photo, i thought of my HM stamp with a cup cake which my online HM friend, Valda gave me :-) I've been searching Cupcake designed papers, ever since, but i can't find it...2 local stamp stores, 1 local scrapbooking store, michaels & joann's... :-( so, i had to MAKE some background papers...I stamped cupcake images randomly, and colored the cherries with dark pink gel pen. I just noticed... eyelets are all the same color but on the pic., it shows two on the top are darker than the lower ones... Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge 17
It's a Sketch time at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge this week. And this is the first time i used this border punch for circle base. Anyways, since i don't have any swirl punches, i used those gems to make swirls. I placed the tiniest pearls on her necklace & earing. I used Glitter to make a frame for the bride image. I luv this bride stamp! "best wishes" circle tag was attached with pop up glue dots. I haven't made a wedding card for a very long time, but i really wanted to make one using this beautiful bride stamp which i got it recently at a stamp fair. I luv this ROUND card. I should make a card with it more often :-) Sunday, August 22, 2010

This week's sketch at Clean & Simple Stamping is Really Simple! lol! And this is my card. I got this color combination from my friends' mother's t-shirt which i saw yesterday! lol Stamp is from Tim Holtz collection, stamped on dry embossed CS which is really hard to see, but that's the reason why the stamped image looks like that beside the original stamp doesn't have solid lines either. This week's Inspiration photo is from Global Child Collection at Etsy Inspired Challenge. When i saw this pic. i thought of my new addition; $1.00 tree stamp! lol! :-) I luv the saying stamp which came with this tree stamp. The tree with the saying image was attached with pop up glue dots, for it to stand out among those 4 tree images. Saturday, August 21, 2010
