Christmas Card #7
Merry Christmas Eve!
This card is for my BFF who loves baking! Mrs. Claus is from Purple Onion designs. I colored her with copics. All baked goods are from Honey Bee Stamps. I used nesting die from Spellbinders, cut it in half for the base of the baked goods. I used papers from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment is from Queen & Company kit. I added two snowflake stickers from Japan.
Inside, I stamped "half" of the sentiment stamp from Sunny Studio. Once again, I used the gingerbread house dies from Honey Bee Stamps. I added epoxy stickers from Doodlebug designs on the roof for a little fun!
While I prepare for posting this, I'm also tracking Santa & his sleigh. It shows the numbers of gifts he dropped! He's been super busy!Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I'm almost finishing my Christmas cards for this year. Tell the truth, I wanna keep going, making Christmas cards! I'm really in the mood! lol ... Love, Eve

Christmas Card #6
Aloha~
This isn't a "normal type" of Christmas card but since it is for my godmother who had a port visit (Honolulu) recently, I decided to make a card like this. She & her husband had a wonderful time, and although it was so short (only for lunch with me), we had a great time! They flew from east coast, had a couple of days in LA, and 5 days on the ship to Hawaii.
Inside, I stamped "Mele Kalikimaka" (Merry Christmas in Hawaiian language.)
I can't believe 2024 is almost over... Some places have been snowed in but here in Honolulu, I've been feeling the hottest December... last Saturday, I sweat a lot, running errands, and had to take a shower twice!Mahalo for stopping by my blog in your busy schedule today! Mele Kalikimaka! Love, Eve

Christmas card #5
Aloha~
For this card, I used Mail Box and little mails die set from Hero Arts. I stamped and white heat embossed the sentiment from Simon Says Stamps. The gingham paper is from Memory Box. You may not be able to see the "gold" lines on the paper, which looks like "foiling", although it's not foiling. But I attached the golden ribbon to match those thin gold lines on the background paper. I used snow stencil from Lawn Fawn on the kraft card stock from the same company. All greens and red berry dies are from Sizzix/TH. I used Waffle Flower's postage die for the frame, to match the theme of "mail".
A week left before Christmas! Are you ready??!! 🎅Love, Eve

Christmas card #4
Aloha~
When you think of shaker cards in winter, you have to make a snow globe, right?! 😀
The dies and clear dorm are from My Favorite Things. The church scene in the snow globe are made from Lawn Fawn's stamp set. I used the snowy scene stencil from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment is from Concord & 9th, using the die cut out from Lawn Fawn. Those snow flakes around the sentiment are the stickers from Japan. I used the stitch die from Lil' inker designs on the card base.
I stamped this sentiment from Sunny Studio stamps inside of this card.Thank you for stopping by my blog today.
Red flag warning is effect til tomorrow across the state. Hope everything will stay ok... and hope everyone is ok in US mainland, esp. from that big snow storm which hit the east coast recently.. stay safe! Love, Eve

Christmas Card #3
Aloha~
I cross stitched the Santa Claus from Lawn Fawn's website. They have many cross stitch patterns there if you'd like to check them out! Snowflakes dies are from Lawn Fawn and so is the back ground paper. The sentiment is from Birch Press. I love this style. When I use some kind of stitches on the design, I often end up with the stitched background, using My Favorite Things stamp's frame die. 😊
I wanted a little fun sentiment inside for this card.Another beautiful day. Honolulu marathon (nation's 4th largest) was held early this morning, started at 5AM. The Fireworks woke me up. lol Over 35,000 participated. Large number of runners are from US mainland and Japan.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Hope you are having a great weekend! Love, Eve

Christmas card #2!
Aloha~
This is my 2nd Christmas card. I used cookies in a baking sheet from Queen & Co.'s kit, made a shaker piece. I just love making shaker pieces! So fun! Cute Santa Clause is from Unity, colored with Copic. Brown stitched circle dies are from Lil' inker designs. I cut those out from Lawn fawn's "wood grain" papers. The stripe background paper and the sentiment are from the same kit. I used holly dies from Lawn Fawn. I think it turned out be cute. 😊
The "busy" weekend is almost here. Honolulu is becoming more crowded with tourists who will be participating Honolulu Marathon on Sunday. They are expecting over 35,000 runners. Honolulu marathon is the 4th largest, after NY, Chicato and Boston.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Love, Eve

Now, Christmas card time!
Happy Holidays!
Now, time to make Christmas cards!
When I received the kit from Queens and Co., I wanted to make some shaker pieces right away. I'm glad I did that, so I can use them, without having extra time in this busy season! I added shaker bits from different companies and packets! Christmas pudding cakes, chocolate chip cookies, Gingerbread men & houses beside the different colored pearls! So fun! I used the frame die from Hero Arts. First I had another design in mind, and I remembered this frame die. I checked the size of the oven area and it matched the shaker piece, so I decided to use this die instead. I love how it turned out!
Hope you have started a nice week after Thanksgiving day and Black Friday! Kinda strange to have Cyber Monday in December, though... right?! Hope you aren't buried in the snow, either...

Coffee card for November swap
Aloha~
Most of the things used here are from Lawn Fawn, except the background paper which is from Newton's Nook Designs. It's pretty much explanatory.
Hope you had a great weekend! It's already "busy" everywhere I go. How is it in your area?
If I don't "see" you here before Thanksgiving on this coming Thursday, have a blessed Thanksgiving day (if you are in US ).
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Love, Eve

Happy Thanksgiving!
Aloha~
Sorry to hear that some of you got lots of snow yesterday... I started to feel a bit of cold breeze in the air here, too. Definitely winter is coming....
This card is for my BFF.
Again, I used several different company's products; scarecrow image is from Lawn Fawn. I'd been looking for "my favorite kind" of scarecrow and I found this one a couple of months ago from Lawn Fawn's new release. The sentiment is from Waffle Flowers. Pumpkin dies are from Spellbinders. Puffy clouds are stickers from Concord and 9th, the banner die is from Lawn Fawn, hill and stitched rectangle dies are from My Favorite Things, and layering paper is from Sunny Studio.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Less than a week to Thanksgiving. Have a blessed Thanksgiving! Hugs, Eve

Happy Halloween! #3/Coffee card swap
Aloha~
This is my last Halloween card this year. I really wanted to make a shaker card, because I've been purchasing and "hoarding" Halloween shaker bits and wanted to use some of them.
I decided to make two themed combined card; Halloween and Coffee. I had to choose the sentiment first (Trinity Stamps) and then, made a design afterwards.
I used Waffle Flowers' block die, but used two out of four windows to place shaker bits. The stamp I used in the block die cut out are Lawn Fawn, Pretty Pink Posh, and dies are from Simon Says Stamps and Poppy stamps. Shaker bits are from Pretty Pink Posh and Trinity Stamps. I just love the colors of tiny ghost bits from Trinity Stamps! So cute! I used Poppy Stamps ' cauldron die by the block die, and spider web die from Lawn Fawn. I die cut this cauldron from the shiny black package of my skin care product, although it shows as if it's rather "blended" on the top but I didn't. For some reason, the photo doesn't show the total shiny black color. I kinda liked this photo instead of the actual color of the cauldron, though. lol

Happy Halloween #2
Aloha~
Can you believe that Halloween is coming up soon?? You would think that it's a month away, but before you know it, it'll be here! lol 👻
This is the card for my BFF, who grew up with dogs but after the marriage, almost 30 years ago, they decided to rescue kitties, due to their work schedule. Ever since they always have kitties. Anyways, I used the cross stitch chart and the dies from Lawn Fawn. Black cat's faces are Washi tape which I never used as a part of the design before. I like how it turned out.😸 I used Lawn Fawn dies of spider webs, new Simon Says Stamps bat dies, and the background was done, using Concord & 9th stencil. And, I love the sentiment on the front! lol
I also decorated the inside of this card, with all stamps from the same stamp set with the sentiment on the front ~ Fun Stampers Journey stamp set which I bought from Spellbinders website a couple of years ago. I just stamped inside and heat embossed with fine white embossing powder. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Love, EveSaturday, September 28, 2024
Happy Halloween #1
Aloha~
This card will go to my godmother. Since she will travel late October, I need to mail this soon.
This is my 2nd "cross stitch" design on the card. As you can see, I'm addicted. LOL I used my new Halloween vertical sentiment stamps from Pretty Pink Posh, for something different. All little cut outs are from Lawn Fawn's stamp set. The background is from Lawn Fawn's die. The bottom hill and grass die cuts are from HoneyBee Stamps. Since it's at night, I cut "grass" in dark brown.
Inside, I used new Washi tapes; one from Lawn Fawn and another one from Japanese "Dollar store", nearby (in Honolulu). The sentiment stamp is from Lawn Fawn.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. If you were in the path of Helene, I hope you'll have a speedy recovery. Some of you remember that I went through Super Typhoon in the early 2000s, the eye literally passed right above me! Please take care. Thinking of y'all. Love, Eve

Coffee Card for Sept.2024
Aloha, I'm back on the list of Coffee card swap.
Here is my card. Now, I'm addicted to this cross stitch thingy. Once upon a time, I cross stitched A LOT, sometimes 8 hours a day, as if it was my job! LOL Back then, of course, I did very detailed, and large cross stitch patterns, like 28, 32 and even on 36 on linen. I hadn't cross stitched for, liked 2 decades? and Lawn Fawn released these stitch dies. These are much easier to complete, like this one, in 50 mins. while I watched the rerun of NCIS. I have many flosses left from like 20 years ago, so I used the ones I had. You'll see more of these cross stitched pieces on my cards for this fall and winter. I've already finished a couple of them for Halloween and Christmas! LOL Again, I used several different company's products; Lawn Fawn, Sunny Studio, Honey Bee Stamps, and The Greetery.
This is the inside of the card.
This weekend arrived early, thanks to the long weekend in US!Please stay safe from the heat in the areas with Heat warning, like Arizona and California.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Love, Eve

Happy Birthday!
This is the last birthday card this month.
I wanted to use my new Hero Art's fancy die. My design started from there. I used "sandy" paper from my stash, stamped the Waffle Flower's sentiment. I love this font as if it was written on the sandy beach! I used the MFT stamp's stitch frame for the whole front. I noticed that I've been using this frame die often.😊 I stamped the ocean stamp from Papertrey Inc. The puppy on the float, both stamps are from Sunny Studio. I'm a cat person and I think this is the only dog stamp I own, but the recipient loves dogs, so I chose this stamp. The sun, the clouds and seagulls stamps are from Lawn Fawn.
Hope you are having a great week! If you are in heatwave area, please stay safe and stay hydrated! Here in Hawaii, a couple of storms coming this way, from Sunday... two already got their names; Hone & Gilma. Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Love, Eve

Happy Birthday!
Sunday, August 11, 2024
Hello~
I'd been wanting to use the "fruit" papers (esp. lemon) from LF and the mason jar dies from MFT stamps since last summer. Finally I got time to use them!
"hello" sentiment is from Hero Arts. I stacked up 3 times since I attached the bulky shaker parts next to it. This mason jar isn't the shaker dies but I managed to make it fine, I think...? 😊 Shaker bits are from Q&C and Hero Arts. Very summer-like, right? 😊It's going to my godmother. 😊I wanted to use "Thinking of you" on the front but I didn't have the die which fits in the place instead of "hello", so I stamped that inside 😊
Have a nice evening! Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Stay hydrated! Love, Eve
Happy Birthday! #1
Well, there are more people who were born in this month. Glad I'm taking some time off from my card swap group.
I feel like I've been buying new stamps but time passes by and don't use it for a year (due to the half of them being the "seasonal" stamp sets) and use it a year later. lol... of course, I CAN use any stamps any time, I guess but the recipients might feel..hmmm?... esp. if they are NON card makers. We, the card makers CAN just say, O.K., "Halloween in AUGUST", like "Christmas in July" and nobody minds it! LOL!
I used mostly the LF stamp set, and their shimmery yellow card stock. I used the NND stencil for the background. The first sentiment stamp and most shell shaker bits are from Q&C. There are star shaker bits among the shell shaker bits. That's made of the packaging of my favorite beauty brand. I just keep those pretty parts (no logo nor any prints) of the packaging when I buy their skin care products. And, punch out using some punchers I have, to make shaker bits cuz I love making shaker cards. This one has star bits from "rose gold" packaging. They mostly come in gold, silver, black (shiny and matt) but I love this "rose gold" color. It's hard to tell from the photo but I used Stickles to give a little shimmer, here and there on the shells.I decided to make a shaker card a little different. I completely shut the card base, and added the white panel for "writing", for a little twist. I die cut, using Spellbinders nesting die from very long time ago! I used the "Hawaii seal stamp" from Honey Bee Stamp's recent release.
Well, the Paris Olympics is now closed. Have a nice Sunday evening, everyone, and thank you for stopping by my blog today. Love, Eve

Happy Birthday!
Aloha~
The birthday of the moderator of Coffee card swap group is coming up. I bought this Newton's Nook Designs' stamp set last month. She also likes Boba tea and drinks matcha tea. I was going to use this as the main focus on the card. Then I saw the Inky paw challenge at Newton's Nook Designs'. I decided to use the sketch (it's a sketch challenge), also, I am submitting this card to the challenge which is closing tonight. I made it. lol
I love one of the sentiment in this stamp set, and decided to use it inside. 😊
You can see the challenge details here.
Thanks for stopping my blog today. Have a nice weekend! Love, Eve

Happy Birthday to my BFF!
Aloha~
It's been a while since I posted last. I've been very busy. Anyways, I finally finished this birthday card to my BFF from college.
I really wanted to use this sentiment, and I started out to make a front design, from the sentiment. I used Kuretake watercolor paint to handpaint the background; Sky, Ocean and the sandy beach. Then I used the stamp of Essential by Ellen for the waves but after the ink drying, I used Uniball white pen to go over all the stamped wave images. I found a couple of stamps to make some sandy beach from Lawn Fawn. I had some stickers from Japan for the seashells and starfish. I elevated the seagull's part, using the foam tape.Wednesday, May 15, 2024
Coffee card for the month of May!
Aloha~
This is the card I made for this month's swap. I love these papers from NND! I love orange cats, and I colored him with copic, using a little brush strokes for the furs of tabby cat. 😸I tried to color coordinate as much as possible, as you probably can tell. 😊 I used the oval stitch die from Sunny Studio, stitched pocket die from Honey Bee Stamps, altering a little on the top to fit well with the background stitched die cut design, from MFT.
This week, we'll have tons of rain, again 😑Wherever you are, hope you'll stay safe from the severe weather. And, hope some of you witnessed the beautiful sight of northern lights! Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Love, Eve

Happy Birthday!
Aloha~
This is the birthday card I made for my godmother. I used things from more brands which wasn't my intention but just looking at it again, I did use from several brands. I started out with my new addition of tulip dies from Concord &9th, and newly released paper from Craft Papers, which I spotted in Simon Says Stamps April release, Taylored Expressions, Lawn Fawn, Spellbinders, Honey Bees stamps and Pink Fresh Studio!
I really like how this card turned out, for her.
This was my 3rd try of uploading, due to the "brightness", but for some reason, it doesn't get "brighter". But in real life, it is "brighter". lol, esp. the white woodgrain part, definitely whiter. lol, but you got the idea of the design. 😊
I usually don't decorate inside but when I couldn't decide what colors of tulips and how many I wanted to place on the front of the card, I ended up with this red tulip, so, I decided to add that inside under the sentiment. And, I tend to place more things on the card when I need to send them in a package, also, cuz of no extra postage fee! 😉
Hope all of Moms out there will get pampered tomorrow, which they well deserve! Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Love, Eve

Coffee card for April 2024 card swap
Aloha~
This is the card I made for Coffee card swap group for April.
I've been really wanting to use my new addition of coffee mugs background stencil from NND. I colored them in different colors, and on different card stock but for this month's card, I decided to use this one for this swap card. I also wanted to use my new addition from C9's dies. It became kinda fun card, in my opinion😊I used Echo paper's sentiment stamp. I used the little puffy white star stickers from C9 from last summer release. At last, I used the brown twine to finish this card.
"Coffee is always a good idea"! To me, "Great" idea! LOL
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Have a great weekend!

Easter & Coffee combined card for March card swap!
Aloha~
I had the same paper from Newton's Nook Designs, and wanted to use it! I just love this paper (and the whole pad!). Sometimes the designer's papers are so pretty and you don't have to do too much on it, to make a card. This paper is definitely one of them!
I made sure there was a GOLDEN EGG on this card and the1st Easter card 😉I like to use organza ribbons on Spring cards. 😊Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Have a nice weekend! Love, Eve
Happy Easter #2!
Aloha~
This is for my godmother. Most dies are from Honey Bee stamps. The sentiment is from Poppy Stamps. Pretty much self explanatory. Only the difficult part was to "attach small dies" from the set. It's hard to tell on this photo but I used "shimmery" white card stock for the clouds.
Happy Easter! #1
Aloha~
This is my 1st Easter card for this spring. I really loved this Newton's Nook Designs paper and wanted to use it last spring but never had a chance. I'm happy that I could use it this spring! Bunny is also from Newton's Nook Designs. The sentiment is from Poppy Stamps, eggs are from Memory box and layering pinking die is from Waffle Flowers. After I received this layering die sets, I noticed it looked like the sun. I really like this die set!
Easter is almost here. How many Easter cards have you made this year?
Everyday I check the weather forecast in US mainland, and see some crazy weather still continues ... please stay safe!

Happy St. Patrick's day! #2
Aloha~
I used new Shamrock shaker die to make this card. I usually don't make "interactive" cards because of no time except shaker cards! I love making them! I used LF's stencils for the background. Once in a while, I use brads. I HOARDED (!!) so many brads and eyelets when it was really popular years ago. I'm sure that many of you can relate! 😄
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Love, EveHappy St. Patrick's day! #1
Aloha~
This is my first St. Patrick's day card this year. Although I bought this Shamrock die this year, having another idea, I ended up using St. Patrick's day stamp set from the past from the same company for this design. 😊I used LF's paper. I have started to wear greens! 💚
Hope you are having a nice weekend! Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Love, EveSunday, February 4, 2024
Coffee (Hot chocolate) card for February swap.
Aloha~
I'm not sure you guys checked my last post but I'm really liking LF's kraft cs, which I used the last months' card, too! It's kraft but I like the color, to use it instead of off-white and cream color cs. I have other Kraft color cs from other companies but I'm liking this the most at the moment! I've had this for some years and hardly ever used them!! LOL I might end up making cards with this cs this entire year, until I run out. lol
The background is my new 2-layer stencil from Pretty Pink Posh. Mugs are from the Greetery and the mouse and a tiny heart are from Lawn Fawn. I really liked this mouse on Kraft cs, too! The sentiment is from MFT. I thought it's rather appropriate cuz of Valentine's day coming up.
My friends in "severe weather" path, please stay safe and keep warm with Hot Chocolate!
Love, Eve

Happy New Year! #3 (for Coffee card swap)
Aloha~
I love this postage dies and stamps. I also used stamps and dies from different companies, 7 companies to be exact, from stamps, dies to stencils to finish the front panel!
It's hard to see it in the picture but I cut the top part, after I made the whole front panel before attaching it to the card base, because, in person, I felt that 2/3 of the panel "looked" heavy with all those die cuts. I used the foam tape to give a bit of dimension to adhere the top part to the card base in the end.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Stay safe & stay warm!
Love, Eve
Happy New Year!! #2
My 2nd card in 2024 which I used the same stamp set from the previous post but the different stamps. I used the same colors and the medium for the main dragon stamp. Same background, using my very old clouds stencil from Print Works/1997! I have a couple of clouds stencils but I still use this old one, sometimes. It was $2.79, probably found at nearby stamp store, in late 90's..."Stencils" never go bad! lol I used different embellishments from different company. I layered that front to the white card stock which I just swiped with my Honeydew Encore inkpad from Tsukineko, directly around the edge of the card stock. The sentiment is from old stamp set from HA.
This is going to my godmother. 😊
Well, my friends, it's cold here, too... yesterday morning, it was the 2nd coldest in the record! That was 58F! The coldest day ever was 57F which was recorded in 1978! It's definitely a hoodie weather in this "tropical" island. Stay safe, stay warm! Love, Eve

A Happy New Year!!
This is my 1st card in 2024! I received a Christmas card from someone whom I didn't expect to receive it from but unfortunately last 2 months had been very busy and I hardly could make a card, so, I decided to make a New Year's card for the sender.
2024 is the year of Dragon, the only non-real life animal among 12 Chinese zodiac. The main image is new from Mama Elephant stamps. My mom's sign is the Dragon and she kept some decoration of dragons. They were all green and gold, and that's how I remembered the dragon and decided to use those colors. For "mane?" and the tip of the tail, I used light green color, and picked the gold color from Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor palette, using a watercolor brush pen, to color over the light green colored areas. The photo didn't pick up well but it's a bit golden. The vertical sentiment is from Purple Daisy Designs.
Wishing you an abundance of happiness for 2024!
