Aloha~
December has been really hard for my body due to my seasonal work. I even prefer a lie-down than sitting at home... but, I finished it and it's on its way to the recipient! Since she lives in west coast, hopefully this card will get to her before Christmas!
I really like my new background stamp from Taylored Expressions. I also like my Washi tape of plaid. I decided to use this washi tape to "make a background paper", used a coffee die from Poppy stamps to cut it out. Those "peppermint stickers" are from Doodlebug Design inc. The sentiment is from MFT stamps.
Please take care of yourselves. Everyone around me seems that they are getting sick...🙏
Love, Eve
Aloha~
The background papers are from my newest addition, from Whimsy stamp company. My cards are mostly "cute" side but I made it a little less cute, well, at least, I tried. lol
I used MFT's stitch frame die to cut and cut them in triangle. I used spider web with a spider from Essentials by Ellen, die cutting the shimmer paper. I used a Ghost die from Poppy stamps. It's hard to see it on the picture but I used another shimmer white card stock. I used the coffee stamps from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment stamp is from Essentials by Ellen. I used dies from Spellbinders, cutting pumpkins, to give a bit impression of PSL which is next to those pumpkins. I added a bit of blings and twine from TH, from some years ago.Halloween is less than a week away... time is flying by... Love, Eve
Aloha~
I made a couple of Halloween cards, using Whimsy Stamps papers. When they released this paper pad, I had to have it! 😄I made these cards, making those papers as a focal point, finishing them with some dies and sentiments.
I used dies from Lawn Fawn, Tim Holtz/Sizzix, and some papers from Honey Bee stamps.
Aloha~
PSL season has arrived! Yaaaas! 😋So, this is my card.
I love this stamp set from The Greetery. I fell in love with the argyle pattern paper which Honeybee stamps released very recently, and I had to use this particular paper for the card. I first layered the background papers, and then, I designed and chose the stamps for the front. Usually it's other way around, but I really love this paper and other papers in that paper pad! The sentiment on the top is from Sunny Studio stamps and I layered it over the die cut without the sentiment. Other sentiments are from Art Impressions.First day of fall is just around corner! Happy Fall, y'all!
Aloha~
This is a rather quick card I made, to enclose in the package of Housewarming gift for my godmother. She & her husband moved to the senior living community recently. When they decided the place a year ago, she told me that there was an indoor pool. She was reluctant to move out from a big house to a smaller place but she was a little happy about the pool. 😊So, I decided then, the beach towel with the beach design as her housewarming gift.😊
Have a great week! Thank you for stopping by my blog today.
Love, Eve
Aloha~ Hope your new, short week has started out well. 😊
This is the card for my BFF's daughter, who's got her first career job after graduating from college a couple of months ago, and relocating to Africa! 🐅 When this set from Concord & 9th came out in July, I thought of her right away and bought it. I wanted to "customize" for her and I chose the animals paper from Echo Park. As I made, I noticed a couple of things and I had to adjust it, to work well on this card, like the "windows". The stamp is a simple night sky image, and I wanted to give a bit of impression when she opened the windows, so I attached the stickers. Oh before doing so, I used two different card stock to see which card stock grabbed the ink well and get the better result. I got good result from both card stock, but when I tried to this design, it was easier to move the window shades, if I used the lighter card stock. Also, I attached some stickers from Concord & 9th which I bought with the dies and stamp sets. I elevated the panel more than initially I planned cuz of those stickers.
You can see when the windows are closed and when they are opened.
I still see the heat wave across US on weather forecast. Please stay safe! Here in Hawaii, I have started to feel a little "fall" in the breeze, despite of the high of 90F every day.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Love, Eve

It's been really hot here. So, that thinking led me to make this card! I've been drinking Iced Coffee and Iced Tea a lot cuz it's been HOT! I used Lil' Inker's coffee/tea stamps with ice cubes and straws. I used glossy accent for the straws. I had "lemon slices" embellishment, so I cut it in half, attached them in the tea cup. I used the Whimsy stamps Ripple's Die. This die really need a pressure to cut it, and still I need to snip some parts... but love the design! I used Hero Arts water ripple's stamp in the center. I used Sunny studio's alphabet dies for spelling "HOT", and used Concord & 9th's "summer" stamp. I finished off with a couple of sequins to give a bit of shimmer on the front.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Have a nice weekend! Stay hydrated! Hugs, Eve
Aloha~ Happy MONDAY! ...or?! 😁
I mainly used Lawn Fawn's stamps for this card. The street stencil is from Pretty Pink Posh. I colored them with Copic markers. The stitch frame dies are MFT stamp's. It's pretty much self explanatory 😊
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Have a great week, everyone! Hugs, EveAloha~
This is the 2nd birthday card which I made for this group, with my newest HM addition! Love this stamp! I colored them with Copic markers. It's hard to tell on the picture, but I used Wink of Stella on the "steam" images. I used Altenew die for the sentiment. I also used Lil' inker Design's frame dies for the orangish yellow card base and on the white card stock.
Aloha~
Finally I finished to make a card for our admin for this group, and mailed it today, on her birthday. 😊
I really like this girI from Essential by Ellen 😍I "asked her to toast with coffee" for the admin in this group! 😀I colored with copics. I used Lawn Fawn's mug cup from one of their stamp set. The sentiment is Alternew. I used Lawn Fawn's confetti stencil on the top. I used MFT stamps' stitch die.
It's so windy here in Honolulu due to the category 4 Hurricane is passing by even it's down south and not direct hit but if the strength is 4, apparently the wind gusts up to 60mph is possible, with our "natural" trade winds. Hope we won't lose power... Hope y'all are not suffering from the extreme heat or storms/tornadoes! Stay safe! Love, Eve
Aloha~
Hawaii is known for "Pineapple" but also "Coffee", esp. "Kona" Coffee but 100% Kona coffee is expensive and sell a lot of 10% Kona blended coffee in Hawaii. lol Anyways, this pineapple die is my newest addition from Lawn Fawn. Initially I thought of "Hawaii" and/or "Kona" wording but well, ended up "Aloha". 😊 That's also from Lawn Fawn.
Mahalo for stopping by my blog today. Have a great rest of the weekend! Stay hydrated!
Love, Eve

This is the card which I made for my BFF from college. I hadn't used this stamp set since I bought some years ago...I decided to go with "puns". 😄 Inside, it says "time to SHELL-EBRATE" with the image of shells. 😄 The fun part was to make the background. I always enjoy making the background. I used the vellum for the sentiments, and heat embossed. The final touch is those little heart embellishments which I found at local "dollar store".
Aloha~
Boba tea has become so popular in the area I live. The recipient of this card doesn't live here but I remember she made a card with BOBA tea theme in the past, so she may like it, too. My most fav. place for Boba tea in my area is "The Alley". I believe its HQ is in southern CAL. Anyways, my fav. Boba tea flavors are Matcha and Ube. So, this is the card I made, getting inspired from the boba teas how they make. I think the recipient also loves "matcha".
I tried to make them look "realistic", and used "Glossy accent" on all bobas and straws, but unfortunately they don't "move" more freely for the shaker card... maybe next time, I won't use glossy accent.😅 Boba tea cups are from Mama Elephant, flower papers on the cups are from LF, and alphabet dies are from Sunny Studio stamps. I love their fonts and the size.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Hope y'all are having a nice weekend!

Once in a while, I make "TEA" card for "coffee card" swap group. We are allowed to make TEA card, and hot chocolate beside coffee card. 😊
These stamps are from Stampington & Company, year of 1999! I got ("collected') Debbie Mumm's stamps cuz I loved her designs even before I first saw her design on wood mounted red rubber stamps. I "collected" fabrics, home decoration to table wares! These wood mounted stamps haven't been used that much, but instead, they are displayed on the shelves, for years! I recently bought Lawn Fawn's background die, and had been wanting to use it. I used MFT stamps "stitched" frame die for the front. I used Newton's Nook's new paper for the sentiment, die cut it using MFT stamps old die. The little heart shaped steam stamp is Lawn Fawn's. I felt I needed something more in open space, I found the Lawn Fawn's die of heart. I used "shimmery", "half transparent" paper scrap, and I die cut it. I have no idea who made these papers. I've started to "collect" and "hoard" papers 25 years ago when I lived on a tiny tropical island cuz it was hard to get the paper I want when I needed to make a card on an island, so I "collected" as many as I could, whenever I could, even from the wrapping papers for the gifts/souvenirs from foreign countries! I still have those papers, too!
Hope you are all doing well in your neck of the woods. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Love, Eve
Aloha~
I made this card for my godmother's birthday. Recently I bought Lawn Fawn's balloons stencil, and wanted to use it. I love this stencil. Lately many companies make stencils but, like 3 in a pack, 4 in a pack, and they become pricy. This stencil is great! Just one, so, the price is good. I also bought small blending brushes which comes in 3 "smaller" sizes than the ones I already own. Using the smallest blending brushes, these confetti coloring was a breeze! And, I didn't have to use "post it notes" to cover other places! I just love these 2 of my new crafting products! I used Lawn Fawn's watercolor paper. I used Lawn Fawn's sentiment stamp, heat embossed in their rose gold embossing powder. Since I'm sending a gift as well, I decided to make this card a bit larger than normal 4.25" x 5.5". I used Lawn Fawn's shimmery pastel pink card stock, and stripe paper from Lawn Fawn's 12"x12" paper pack. After I finished the front, I felt like I needed something more, and attached some "shimmery" embellishments, randomly.
Hope you are having a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Love, Eve
Aloha~
It took several days to finish this card. Lately the stamp companies releases dies with very small pieces. They look great but when I try to use them, it's hard... Still, I keep buying them. lol... Anyways, this is one of the cards which I used those little pieces. It takes more time for choosing "colored papers" for each pieces, too, than coloring them... I also started out with the different colors for the background and the card base, but I couldn't make the card, so I changed the colors. 😓 When you have so many choices, it gets harder to decide which one would be the best...I'm glad I finished this card. Otherwise, I would be late for mailing the card. ... The shiny silver heavy paper which I die cut for coffee maker are from the package of one of my skin care products. I keep those, and mostly I use them for "stars" for nightly sky on my cards but this time, it became handy for my coffee maker 👍Oh by the way, for the die cutting, I used TH's card stock which he said it wouldn't be a great card base but good for die cutting, so I used those for the 1st time. I'm happy with those papers, on this card!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Have a nice weekend! Love, Eve
I made 2 Easter cards. It took me a while to come up with the ideas but finally finished and mailed them yesterday.
I used Simon Says stamp Egg shaped die to cut one of Lawn Fawn's paper with the sun beam. I stamped the sentiment from Poppy stamps and heat embossed in gold. I attached the lily brad from my very OLD stash so I don't know who made it. lol...I attached "the egg" to Tim Holtz woodgrain white card stock. I attached the watering can die cut from Memory Box. I die cut bunnies using Lawn Fawn's dies and little eggs using Memory box. To finished it off, I attached butterflies using Lawn Fawn's dies & shimmer paper.
Inside, I stamped sentiments from Poppy Stamps stamp set. Since I couldn't finish the card earlier, I made it for "spring" greeting, too. 😅These aren't getting to the destinations before Easter... Oh, so, I used Memory box little egg die to cut out "the Golden Easter Egg"! The picture doesn't show it well but it's an "gold" egg. 😊 The last picture shows "gold" a little better.
I also made another card, which is similar to the first card. I used different card stock, and little bunnies are die cut using IO dies. Inside is the same, with "the Golden Easter Egg"!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Happy Easter! Love, Eve
Aloha~
This is my March card for "coffee card" swap group. March always makes me think of St. Patrick's day and green. But, I had to make it for "coffee themed" card, so here is my completed card.
I used a stencil from Simon Says Stamps, using three different green colors, Concord & 9th's girl, drinking coffee and a small sentiment from the Greetery. I added a couple of embellishments.
Aloha~
Here is my card for February 2023 swap.
As soon as I received these mug dies, I had to cut out from MANY different papers. You all understand that, right?! lol What a cute die set The Greetery introduced! For this card, I used the papers from Lawn Fawn. I also cut the same die from white card stock to adhere on the Lawn Fawn papers to give a bit of dimention instead of using foam tape. For the background, I used Pretty Pink Posh heart stencil, inked it in white on Kraft card stock from Lawn Fawn. Hope you can see it but I stamped "steam" in white ink, using Lawn Fawn's stamp. The sentiment is from Lil' Inker Designs. I used glitery gold heart stickers from Simon says stamps card kit (from some years ago) to randomly adhere. So what do you think?
Have a wonderful week! Love, Eve
Aloha~
This is the Valentine's/Galentine's day card I'm sending to my best friend from college.
I used Pretty Pink Posh hearts stencil, using Tonic Studio's Glimmer paste. I "fell in love again" with The Greetery's new release; mug cup and the sweater. I'd been wanting to find "my style" of sweater and this was it! Most companies have mug cup dies but this is the first time I saw the "heart shaped" one! This die set includes "marshmallows" so I made it to be a "hot chocolate" which we both love! The sentiment is from MFT Stamps and the stitching die is also from MFT Stamps. I heat embossed the sentiment. After I adhered everything, I noticed more open spaces in background, so I found different shapes of hearts in my die cut stash, so I attached those. Oh, for the sweater, I used the cable knit pattern paper from MFT Stamps, and white small polka dots paper from Lawn Fawn for the mug cup.
I was making another card but hard time, finishing it, so I started this card, and finished it fast. lol Sometimes that happens.Have a nice week! Love, Eve
Aloha~
This is an "extra" card to go with my "care" package. A Coffee card swap group member suffered a big damage to her new home from Hurricane which hit her "new" place directly. I'd been thinking about her ever since, and some months later, she posted a picture of her new kitchen. So I'm sending her some coffee from Honolulu! I made this card, to enclose inside of the package. At first, I didn't really think but then, when I was going through my "stash", I found this HM image, already stamped on watercolor card stock. When I buy a new stamp, esp. if it's a large design like this, I usually stamp a couple times for the future use, so that I don't have to clean the stamp each time. And it hit me, this is perfect! I'm sending 2 bags of coffee from Honolulu! And, it came to my mind, "ENJOY" as a sentiment to use, so I browsed my sentiment collection and found this "ENJOY!" from Honey Bee stamp set. Perfect! I want her to enjoy these coffee!
Inside, I stamped the sentiment from old company, Lil'Inker Design. I thought this sentiment was also perfect for this "care" package!
The box I used to ship is from Kauai Coffee company. In November, I ordered some coffee from them, online cuz I couldn't get the flavors I wanted, on Oahu, only on the island of Kauai, and perfect fit for my gift!Hope you are having a nice week! It will be a short week 😉
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Love, Eve
Happy New Year! A little late for the greeting but it's my first post in 2023!
I used my newly purchased stamp sets, both from Gina K Designs! Most of you know that I hate cold weather, and I tend to make cards which doesn't have "winter" theme much...But I really liked these sets, and after coloring, I like them even more! 😍
I did some ink blending for background scene. I splattered white watercolor paint to make a snowy scene in the end. For the front, it's hard to tell but I found this shiny white paper in my stash, to die cut the snow drifts, using Honey Bee Stamps die. I stamped snowmen and mug cup all in black first, but after placing them on the scene, I didn't like it, and changed the color to light grey to stamp snowmen and brown to stamp mug cups, and I love how they turned out, after coloring with Copics. I decided to make the winter scene card because the recipient lives in Florida. We don't see this scenery in our daily lives.😄Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Hope you are having a relaxing long weekend! In some areas, I watched on the news about horrible weather... Stay safe! Love, Eve
