Happy Valentine's Day #5 (still continues...)

So, is there anything, like Happy BELATED Valentine's day...?! πŸ˜†
I ended up super busy yesterday and didn't have time to upload more Valentine's day cards although they were sent out/given already yesterday, on time! Anyways, Hope you all had a "Sweet" Valentine's day yesterday. πŸ’–

Here is my #5 card.
I used Lawn Fawn's mail box dies from several years ago for the focal point. I started out from there. I used a background paper from my stash of papers, cut out the big heart and attached to the Lawn Fawn's paper after using Concord & 9th clouds die. The winter bird stamp is Lawn Fawn and the sentiment is from Altenew, heat embossed in white EP.

Inside, I used another winter bird stamp from the same stamp set of Lawn Fawn, and LF's sentiment stamp.

I have two more Valentine's day cards to share today.

Mahalo for stopping by my blog today. Love, Eve

Happy Valentine's Day #1

Aloha~

This is my first Valentine's day card this year.

I used Waffle Flower's "rose" postage stencil, Honey Bee Stamps "postcard" die, little stamps from old Altenew stamp set. I used Taylored Expression's heart dies, attaching onto Lawn Fawn's paper, after die cutting it with the large postage die.

January went by so fast! How about you? Love, Eve

Happy New Year! #3 (for Coffee card swap)

Aloha~

I love this postage dies and stamps. I also used stamps and dies from different companies, 7 companies to be exact, from stamps, dies to stencils to finish the front panel!

It's hard to see it in the picture but I cut the top part, after I made the whole front panel before attaching it to the card base, because, in person, I felt that 2/3 of the panel "looked" heavy with all those die cuts. I used the foam tape to give a bit of dimension to adhere the top part to the card base in the end.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Stay safe & stay warm!

Love, Eve

Happy Anniversary!

Aloha~
I made a card for my best friend's wedding anniversary.
I started to think the design and the new kit from MFT Stamps were introduced. I thought, aha!
This is it! I sometimes call her when they are watching a movie, and it seems they like to watch movies together, at home. They are hard working couple and they don't like to decorate and have much "stuff" like I (and other "crafters") do! lol So, this card looks rather "simple" but this is exactly what my friend & her husband like. 😊Also, half of the colors on this card is "customized" from their actual family room!

These days, many dies get released, and they look wonderful once all "tiny" die cuts get placed, but they are "tiny"! lol It's hard to handle them even I use the embellishment wand, esp. when I have to "glue" them! I don't have nails (!! lol) so even it's harder, but I still love the end results. πŸ˜€
I used Altenews stamps for the sentiment and hearts. I heat embossed in gold for the sentiment. I used all scrap papers for all those little dies. I found a right color 'wooden' design paper from my paper collection, and I used it for the floor. Again, it looks "simple" but that's what their "comfy" place is πŸ’•

Have a great week! Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Love, Eve

Happy Easter #2!

 Aloha~

So, I "collected" these dies and finally could make a card! LOL Bird nest, chick dies, fence and gate dies are from Memory box, and bunny dies are IO. I recently saw someone used a colorful paper for the base, and I was inspired by that. You know, we all "hoard" pretty papers and not use them. .. πŸ˜…This card is "odd" size, too. After placing all the elements, I decided to make the card base as what you see, I'm not even sure the exact size. .. sometimes, I just cut little by little to make a card look better. I had to use a bigger size envelope, though. I used "cloud template" for making a background paper. I realized.. although I bought 2 more "clouds" stencils/templates, this one was my oldest, and it says 1997 by PrintWorks. There is a price tag on it; $2.79! Good Old days... lol I recently found a "stencil paper" at $1.50 shop and made a stencil for the grass, using MFT's grass field die. It's a thin paper x 2 in a package. I'm sure, though, I can use it several times at least! I only used, like 1/5 of this stencil paper, so I have plenty left to make more stencils! I found a branch stamp from Altenew stamp set, and stamped on the card front. I attached a gate die over the fence die to give a bit of dimension. Sentiment is heat embossed, and the strip is also attached with a foam tape to give a dimension. Oh I water colored the bird nest.

I painted "eggs" many years ago, and I display with Easter decorations every spring!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Hope your week is off to a great start! Hugs, Eve

3 Coffee cards, to start the new year!

 Aloha~

I made these 3 cards in January, all 3 for different reasons but the recipients are all in the same coffee card group on FB. Yes, I'm behind to post these as usual.. lol..

I love these coffee stamps from Lil' Inker Design! I can "customize" them a lot! πŸ’“

Wishing all of you the MUCH Happier 2021!!!

Coffee card swap for December, 2019

Here is my card for December coffee card swap.

I was inspired by the santa's sleigh die from Poppy stamps, which I bought from BF sale in November. I stamped Altenew small snow background stamp 4 times, heat embossed to make the background.I had the travel mug cup die but not the buckle, so I drew it on the gold paper, and cut it with the scissors. lol. When I do something like this, it makes me feel good, remembering the good old days of rubber stamping/making cards. Things in the market were much limited back then compared to the recent market, so we improvised! That was fun! Stamping/card making is evolving..

"HOPPY" Easter #1

Happy Easter!
I made this card for my godmother. The front is covered by all Lawn Fawn products; egg dies, glitter papers & speckled paper. I didn't want to add anything else on the front cuz it's already pretty much festive...
So, I decided to decorate inside, with the sentiment I planned to place on the front.
I love this bear from Essentials by Ellen and its "wears." πŸ˜ƒ I used MFT's grass die to decorate a bit more. I used Altenew stamps for the cherry blossoms and colored them in with Zig watercolor blush. I thought the front & inside design came together.

Have a wonderful Easter Sunday! ❤

Get well wishes!

US mainland is having a cold winter this year, and the flu is raging more than usual... :( My Godmother e-mailed me that she got sick... I made this card quick, and it'll be mailed out tomorrow. Just wanted to cheer her up with beautiful blooming flowers!

I used Altenew stamps for flowers, and the sentiment is from Sparkle N Sprinkle, in the stamp set I recently received as a gift from my "house mouse friend" (!!) . I used white embossing powder for the sentiment. I used wink of stella to give shimmers to darker color of pink on flowers and green on leaves. I attached all stamped images with foam adhesives to give a bit of dimension to the card. I used WeRmemory 3D embossing folder to the inlaid oval card stock.

Praying for her fast recovery....

Thank you for stopping my blog today. Hope y'all had a nice weekend

Happy Holidays!

I signed up for Christmas card swap in Altenew fan group on FB. We have to use Altenew stamp as the main image. These are the cards I made. I made 4 cards (2 card swap partners in US, 2 in Europe), 2 little different scenes; one looked like having an icy cold but sunny day, and another one looked like having snow flurry. Sizes are a bit different, too. I often make a card, thinking as I make, and sometimes my cards get larger than regular 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch size, and sometimes, longer shape, or even smaller. lol

An icy cold but sunny day... the picture doesn't show it well but to get that "icy" feeling, I sprayed the shimmer mist on the background.

For a snow flurry day, no shimmer mist but used white gel pen to add snow flurries...
I love cardinals, and I miss seeing them in the wild. The tropical island I currently reside don't have many birds, thanks to the brown tree snakes, I hear.. but never miss the cold winter. ..

I realized that Snowy Winter already arrived at unusual places across the States, like San Antonio, TX, Clemson, SC...

I'm submitting this to SimonSaysStamp Monday Challenge ~ Christmas/Winter holiday

Hope y'all are having a nice week! Christmas is coming.. very soon!

Happy Christmas Card day!

Update : This card was selected in TOP 3. 😊

Yes, I just learned while I was trying to upload this card for the challenge at House Mouse Monday Challenge, the theme of Birthday in December . I know another lady who has a birthday this month, and she happens to love House-Mouse 😊

I made a similar card a couple of weeks ago, using Tim Holtz stencil on the background panel, using texture paste, with some glitter this time, on a little lighter color textured paper. I love this stencil! The sentiments are from Altenew. The cupcake is from Stamps by Judith. I made a chocolate cupcake for her, with a cherry on top! πŸ˜‰

I'm also sharing this at SimonSaysStamp "Christmas Card Day " blog post. I'm glad that Sir Henry Cole (1818-1874) of England created the first commercial Christmas cards in 1843! So that we, the card makers enjoy creating Christmas cards! 😊

I still have several more Christmas cards to make...

Hope y'all are having a nice weekend!

Christmas in July!

ok, so July has come and gone, and now it's already August!...but I started to make this card IN JULY :)  And I'm submitting this to HMFMC#246  which started in late July, which gave me an idea, because I was planning to send this friend a little gift, hoping for her to make a use of it for her fav. day coming up. And her birthday is Dec.24!

For both circle frames were given elevation as well as the sentiment and "Chef Amanda" mouse with the foam tape to give some dimension. The sentiments in both circles frames were adhered without the foam tape.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. Have a nice evening!

Altenew July & #3 challenge

I made this card, trying to combine both challenges at Altenew this month; July 2017 Inspiration Challenge and Sketch challenge #3 for scrapbook page. I used the rose, and the three main colors on this inspiration photo, and for the sketch challenge, I used the sketch part. Sketch challenge also allows "other project" than just scrapbook page. The color combo is also similar this month.

Have a nice evening!

Happy Birthday #2

I made this card to my best friend from college. She is always super busy with work & at home. I thought these "herb" stamped images were great to relax her mind. :)

The whole front panel is elevated with the foam panel underneath.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Hope you all are having a nice weekend.

"Let's get some berries!"

This week's challenge at HMFMC is "Let's get some berries". I have a friend in our House Mouse group, who's birthday is coming soon. I recently received a new stamp set from Altenew. I wanted to combine them all. :)  Here is my card.

I wanted the strawberries to be the "present", so I "wrapped them with a ribbon"!

Hope your week has started off well :)

Happy Mother's Day!

Time is flying, and mother's day is almost here. Here are my 2 Mother's day cards. One is for my mom, and another one is for my Godmother who's been there for me ever since.

For mom,
I used Altenew stamps set, WeR memory keeper's embossing folder for the background, and those $1 stamp at Michael's for the sentiment. I wrote Happy Mother's day inside of the card.

For my Godmother,
I used TH's stencil for the focal image, hand-wrote the sentiment (I need a nice sentiment STAMP! ;) ), and used viva decor's pearl pen for the little white pearls.

A little early Happy Mother's day to all mothers and godmothers.

Happy Holidays!

I had made several cards for Christmas this year. I've been very busy at work, I couldn't spend much time for creating but I ended up liking these three among all the cards I made.

I found this "cute" candy cane background paper in my paper stash. I had to use it with my new stamps from Lawn Fawn. I used a mitten punch, colored them, and attached with foam tape.

My friend from college time visited Guam in May and we had a nice evening. I decided to make "Guam" kind of card for her.

I love Cardinals. My most favorite bird and I miss them... Altenew had a cardinal stamp set and made a One Layer card.

Thank you for stopping by. Hope you all are having a wonderful time of the year.
