Coffee card for September, 2025

Aloha~

So, I really liked the August sketch challenge of Newton's Nook Designs' monthly challenge, and I decided to make another card before this month ended. By the way, I went through what I had, and I was rather surprised that I had many more Newton's Nook Designs products than I thought I had. lol So, in the front, I used everything from Newton's Nook Designs (well, almost). And, I knew I was going to make a card for fall, I decided to make this one, and mail it to the September recipient whoever it will be, on the 1st day of next month comes. I wanted to make 'PSL" theme but couldn't find the sentiment stamp from NND and decided to use another company's sentiment inside of the card. I will decide which one to use, after getting the name of the recipient for the swap group on Sept.1st. Oh btw, I used the sketch, sideways, once again.

So, I'm submitting to the challenge; https://www.inkypawschallenge.com/2025/08/inky-paws-challenge-243-week-1.html

Hope you had a great week and getting ready for the weekend! Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Love, Eve

Updated : Sept.3, 2025
Since I received the recipient's name, I stamped some inside of the card. I also added a twine, which I should have added when I finished the card for the challenge... ๐Ÿ˜…

Happy Birthday!

Aloha~

I made this card for one of my "coffee theme card swap group". I've been trying to use something I bought in the past, but haven't used them yet... sounds familiar?! LOL, we become "shopaholics" & "hoarders"! ๐Ÿ˜…. Anyways, I feel satisfied to use these "quilt" theme supplies, finally!

Well, I found out today that the recipient's birthday was 3 days earlier than the date I thought...oh well ...

It's been hot here in Hawaii, with the high of 90F and low of 79F. Stay safe, from wild fires, floods to bad air. Thank you for stopping my blog today. Love, Eve

Coffee themed card for July swap

Aloha~

This is the card I made for July swap. First I was inspired by Spellbinder's blog for new products. I often make a card for "Christmas in July", so it was perfect. But then, my "color combos" changed from red/green to "icy blue" after looking at the papers from Whimsy Stamps paper pad. Now, the recipient has a white kitty, I think. So, this is the card I came up with. For some years now, the stamp companies make great paper pads which I can't resist buying. lol...

This is what did, inside.

Severe weather continues... please take care of yourself. Stay safe! Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Love, Eve

Coffee card for April swap.

Aloha,

My mind was (still is) full of Cherry Blossoms, and I planned to include cherry blossoms somewhere on my coffee themed card for this month's swap but failed. ...now I have really "dark color" coffee card. lol I still like it, though. What do you think?

I used this Impression Obsession stamp set for the first time. I enjoyed stamping and heat embossing them. I used Echo park stamp for the sentiment in the center, and diecut, using Pink Fresh Studio's Blanket stitched square die.

This is inside of this card. The sentiment is from the same stamp set of Impression Obsession, and I used Washi tape on the bottom.

Hope you are all having a great weekend! SPAM jam is going to take place in Waikiki, and a whole week of "Merrie Monarch festival" in Hilo. Every week and weekend, something is going on in this state, esp. in Honolulu county. They recently passed the bill to LIMIT the number of events, in Waikiki because people live there, too...great for tourists, though.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Love, Eve

Happy Birthday!

Happy First Day of Spring! ๐Ÿ’ฎ

I'm sending this card to a birthday lady in my coffee card swap group.

I recently purchased the newly released stencil & die set from Waffle flower. This cupcake looked so yummy and wanted to use it right away. ๐Ÿ˜ŠI made a dozen die cuts with the cupcake images in different color combinations, and from there, I started to make a card. I often use color yellow for the cards I make for April. Her birthday is in the beginning of April. Here is the card I made.

I wanted to include a special sticker sheet and didn't wanna fold it, so I made a Slimline card. It fitted perfectly with my card.

Inside, I stamped a sentiment stamp from MFT, and added extras, using the stamps from Honey Bee stamps, the Greetery and Stampendous!

How's the first day of Spring look like in your area?
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Weekend is almost here! Love, Eve

Coffee card for March swap

Aloha~

I received these layering dies (scallop and stitched) from Poppy stamps as a freebie during Black Friday sale last year, and had been wanting to use them. The glitter paper is from Lawn Fawn. I used Newton's Nook Designs mug cup stencil, using white ink. Those little mug cups are from Simon Says Stamps. Since St. Patrick's day is near, I added those clovers, from Pretty Pink Posh. I usually place some kind of sentiment on the front but for this one, I decided not to.

Inside, I used the sentiment from Lil' inker designs.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Hope you are having a relaxed weekend. It's always something going on here in Honolulu and feels like no relaxing day, ever. lol ๐Ÿ˜…

Are you ready for wearing green tomorrow?! ๐Ÿ’š Love, Eve

Coffee card ~ February, 2025

Aloha,

This is for the Coffee themed card swap. I can make Tea themed and Hot Cocoa themed cards for this group. Since I've been hearing the frigid temperature across US mainland, I decided to make a Hot Cocoa card.

I use mug cup dies from The Greetery. Those smiley faces are from one of Lawn Fawn's stamp set. I'm not sure whether any of you are Lawn Fawn's fans but I am, ever since they opened the business. And they do make these cute face expression stamps in many of their stamp sets, so I chose the right size ones for these mug cups. On the lower part of these mug cups, I found this pink gingham washi tapes in my washi tapes stash and used it. The color matched perfectly! The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn. I attached it with 3D foam tape, to be able to attach the pink ribbon underneath of the sentiment. I used Newton's Nook Designs' stencils for the background.

Inside, I used 2 sentiment stamps from My Favorite Things.

Unfortunately we couldn't really enjoy cooler weather this "winter" here in Honolulu. First time, not being able to wear long sleeves to go to sleep at night...even the lowest temperature this week became above 70F...we are still in February...opposite from US mainland...

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I hear that flu is going around in US mainland. Keep warm, stay safe! Love, Eve

Coffee Card for January swap

Happy New Year!

This is my first card of 2025. Starting out with my fav. mice seems right, to start the new year.

This card is pretty much self explanatory. I colored the image with copics but the outside is colored with the mix colors of watercolor mediums. I used Tonic's nuvo paste for the snow outside of windowshill. I made it looked like a gloomy day but I used snowflake stickers (muted color paper stickers, not shiny ones) from Japan, in different colors, so the whole image became a little warm & cheery! My recent purchase is from Honey Bee's nesting dies, and I really wanted to use them, and I did, even for the shape of the card๐Ÿ˜Š

Inside, I used Lawn Fawn's sentiment. I added coffee bean "washi tape" type stickers, also from Japan.

I wish you all a great 2025!

Coffee card swap ~ December

Aloha~

This is the card I made for the swap this month. I was very sad that Impression Obsession was closing after 26 years of being in the industry. That's about the time when I "got addicted" to stamping, and all of a sudden my collection has started to explode! LOL Before that, I stamped, like 50 wedding invitation cards which I "heat embossed", using toaster oven, in early 90s but I only had a medium box, full of stamps, not A Room! LOL  But I could finally got this die set, even on sale, after first seeing this die set. It went "sold out" so fast in stamp stores, so I was happy to get it, finally!
I got background stamp of candy canes from Taylor's Expression's Grab bag. I really wanted to have their tote bag which came with it, and I don't own many of their products, so I decided to try the grab bag. It comes with peppermint stick stamps, too. Every Christmas time, I crave for "Peppermint Mocha", and I decided to make this card. I just added "red" peppermint bits (with the marker) on the whipped cream of the bear's mocha! ๐Ÿ˜‹
The sentiment is from My Favorite Things.
This is the inside of the card.
Well, the year of 2025 is almost here...
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Hope you are having a nice weekend. Me? Lots of football games; both college bowl games and NFL!  Love, Eve

Coffee card for November swap

Aloha~

Most of the things used here are from Lawn Fawn, except the background paper which is from Newton's Nook Designs. It's pretty much explanatory.

Hope you had a great weekend! It's already "busy" everywhere I go. How is it in your area?

If I don't "see" you here before Thanksgiving on this coming Thursday, have a blessed Thanksgiving day (if you are in US ).

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Love, Eve

Coffee card for the month of May!

Aloha~

This is the card I made for this month's swap. I love these papers from NND! I love orange cats, and I colored him with copic, using a little brush strokes for the furs of tabby cat. ๐Ÿ˜ธI tried to color coordinate as much as possible, as you probably can tell. ๐Ÿ˜Š I used the oval stitch die from Sunny Studio, stitched pocket die from Honey Bee Stamps, altering a little on the top to fit well with the background stitched die cut design, from MFT.

This week, we'll have tons of rain, again ๐Ÿ˜‘Wherever you are, hope you'll stay safe from the severe weather. And, hope some of you witnessed the beautiful sight of northern lights! Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Love, Eve

Coffee card for April 2024 card swap

Aloha~

This is the card I made for Coffee card swap group for April.

I've been really wanting to use my new addition of coffee mugs background stencil from NND. I colored them in different colors, and on different card stock but for this month's card, I decided to use this one for this swap card. I also wanted to use my new addition from C9's dies. It became kinda fun card, in my opinion๐Ÿ˜ŠI used Echo paper's sentiment stamp. I used the little puffy white star stickers from C9 from last summer release. At last, I used the brown twine to finish this card.

"Coffee is always a good idea"! To me, "Great" idea! LOL

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Have a great weekend!

Easter & Coffee combined card for March card swap!

Aloha~

I had the same paper from Newton's Nook Designs, and wanted to use it! I just love this paper (and the whole pad!). Sometimes the designer's papers are so pretty and you don't have to do too much on it, to make a card. This paper is definitely one of them!

I made sure there was a GOLDEN EGG on this card and the1st Easter card ๐Ÿ˜‰I like to use organza ribbons on Spring cards. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Have a nice weekend! Love, Eve

Coffee (Hot chocolate) card for February swap.

Aloha~

I'm not sure you guys checked my last post but I'm really liking LF's kraft cs, which I used the last months' card, too! It's kraft but I like the color, to use it instead of off-white and cream color cs. I have other Kraft color cs from other companies but I'm liking this the most at the moment! I've had this for some years and hardly ever used them!! LOL I might end up making cards with this cs this entire year, until I run out. lol

The background is my new 2-layer stencil from Pretty Pink Posh. Mugs are from the Greetery and the mouse and a tiny heart are from Lawn Fawn. I really liked this mouse on Kraft cs, too! The sentiment is from MFT. I thought it's rather appropriate cuz of Valentine's day coming up.

My friends in "severe weather" path, please stay safe and keep warm with Hot Chocolate!

Love, Eve

Happy New Year! #3 (for Coffee card swap)

Aloha~

I love this postage dies and stamps. I also used stamps and dies from different companies, 7 companies to be exact, from stamps, dies to stencils to finish the front panel!

It's hard to see it in the picture but I cut the top part, after I made the whole front panel before attaching it to the card base, because, in person, I felt that 2/3 of the panel "looked" heavy with all those die cuts. I used the foam tape to give a bit of dimension to adhere the top part to the card base in the end.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Stay safe & stay warm!

Love, Eve

Coffee card swap December 2023

Aloha~

December has been really hard for my body due to my seasonal work. I even prefer a lie-down than sitting at home... but, I finished it and it's on its way to the recipient! Since she lives in west coast, hopefully this card will get to her before Christmas!

I really like my new background stamp from Taylored Expressions. I also like my Washi tape of plaid. I decided to use this washi tape to "make a background paper", used a coffee die from Poppy stamps to cut it out. Those "peppermint stickers" are from Doodlebug Design inc. The sentiment is from MFT stamps.

A week left for Christmas preparation, aka Christmas shopping. lol

Please take care of yourselves. Everyone around me seems that they are getting sick...๐Ÿ™

Love, Eve

Coffee card for October card swap

Aloha~

The background papers are from my newest addition, from Whimsy stamp company. My cards are mostly "cute" side but I made it a little less cute, well, at least, I tried. lol

I used MFT's stitch frame die to cut and cut them in triangle. I used spider web with a spider from Essentials by Ellen, die cutting the shimmer paper. I used a Ghost die from Poppy stamps. It's hard to see it on the picture but I used another shimmer white card stock. I used the coffee stamps from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment stamp is from Essentials by Ellen. I used dies from Spellbinders, cutting pumpkins, to give a bit impression of PSL which is next to those pumpkins. I added a bit of blings and twine from TH, from some years ago.
Inside ~ The pumpkin head die is from Poppy stamps. The sentiment strips are from Simon Says stamps.

Halloween is less than a week away... time is flying by... Love, Eve

Birthday card for Coffee card swap group member

Aloha~

This is the card I made for a member of Coffee card swap group I belong to.
It was fun to make because I used this and that from different things and brands. I finally received Honeybee stamps paper pad after waiting for the notification coming through. It's a beautiful paper pad! Although you all know I love the ocean and beach, I also love animals and "in the woods and forest" related products, to make my cards, and this was one of them. I used Cabin die and birthday beaver stamp (which was a freebie from Lawn Fawn for my birthday month). I thought a lot about what to place in the windows and behind the "open door" area. That's when I came up with the idea after unable to find such small stamps for coffee. Yes, I had this Washi tape from nearby Japanese "dollar store", although it's not a dollar and now with the inflation, it's" $1.75 store", but I found this Washi tape a couple of years ago. They fitted pretty well, don't you agree? ๐Ÿ˜€I had a couple of choices behind the door, and chose the fox, cutting from my collection of "hoarded papers for years", so I'm not sure about its brand. lol I probably found it at Jo Anne over 10 years ago, I think... also "cafe" sign is a part of the same Washi tape I used for windows. Can you see the little "steam" from the chimney? I found the perfect size from one of the Newton's Nook Design stamp set. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. I love the front on this card, using different things from different brands and different times.

Oh by the way, not card related, but I found this at Macys recently, at their newly decorate floor for Christmas in Home department. I'm a "PSL" person! lol I had to get this ornament.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Hope you will have a great week! "Autumn" has started! ๐Ÿ‚ Love, Eve

Coffee card for September swap

Aloha~

PSL season has arrived! Yaaaas! ๐Ÿ˜‹So, this is my card.

I love this stamp set from The Greetery. I fell in love with the argyle pattern paper which Honeybee stamps released very recently, and I had to use this particular paper for the card. I first layered the background papers, and then, I designed and chose the stamps for the front. Usually it's other way around, but I really love this paper and other papers in that paper pad! The sentiment on the top is from Sunny Studio stamps and I layered it over the die cut without the sentiment. Other sentiments are from Art Impressions.

First day of fall is just around corner! Happy Fall, y'all!

Coffee card for August card swap

Aloha~

It's been really hot here. So, that thinking led me to make this card! I've been drinking Iced Coffee and Iced Tea a lot cuz it's been HOT! I used Lil' Inker's coffee/tea stamps with ice cubes and straws. I used glossy accent for the straws. I had "lemon slices" embellishment, so I cut it in half, attached them in the tea cup. I used the Whimsy stamps Ripple's Die. This die really need a pressure to cut it, and still I need to snip some parts... but love the design! I used Hero Arts water ripple's stamp in the center. I used Sunny studio's alphabet dies for spelling "HOT", and used Concord & 9th's "summer" stamp. I finished off with a couple of sequins to give a bit of shimmer on the front.

Inside, I wrote, "Iced Coffee?? Iced Tea??"

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Have a nice weekend! Stay hydrated! Hugs, Eve
