My 2nd Thanksgiving card this year. I used this SU! stamps which I never used til now... the box says 2000 release, so, I probably bought it around that time. It's a stamp set and comes in a plastic container. The container was yellowed after 17 years of the release, but the wood mounted red rubber stamps are intact! These are the kind of stamps I just love to "decorate" my craft space with. 😊
Water coloring has been a trend for a while, and like this, background brush strokes. I combined old with the new, and this is rather clean card I made for my non stamping friend. All leaves are heat embossed in gold over the background coloring. Since these leaves are beautiful as the way they are, I wanted to show the stamped images as much as possible, and came up with the idea of using vellum for the sentiment, and used the short sentiment, too, to not distract the whole image. That's also the reason I used thin colorless twine on the bottom. Same reason for only two sequins. I used a MFT's stitched banner die, to give just a little bit of interest. I used "Rose Gold" embossing powder for the sentiment. It's kind of the thing at the moment, and several stamp companies released this beautiful color for EP.
I'm submitting this to SimonSaysStamp Monday~Thanks/Thanksgiving challenge.
Have a nice day! Thanks for stopping by my blog today.

Oct.31, 2017 Happy Halloween! Trick or Treat #3
"This is probably my 2nd time to buy A Card Kit in my over 25 years of stamping. I don't find interesting to use a kit when I'm creating, but this one, as soon as it was released, I placed the order! 😊 Except the big sheets of holographic stickers, I love them all, and I knew I could use them all. "
This is a card, made of different company's stamps, but the haunted house, spiders, and those little Nuvo Glow Drops, both apple sour and banana split are from this kit! What inspired me for this card is those trick-or-treater image, already colored, I found it in my very old stash. It's SU! from early 2000s'! Wow, over 15 years ago! ... On the envelope, you can see the whole stamped image but I didn't stamp on the 3rd floor. No space for this already prepared regular card front size. I masked the house and the trick-or-treaters, and used a Stamp Camp back ground stamp, using a couple of Tim Holtz distress inks, splitzed with the water on the stamp. I found a spooky looking tree and bats from Lawn Fawn Halloween set, and I'm not sure what company but found the sentiment stamped and heat embossed already in my old stash. I used MFT stitched banner die for the sentiment, attached with the foam tape for the dimension. I found a little ghost plastic embellishment from my stash, and "painted" with "Nuvo Glow Drops Apple Sour". I also used "Nuvo Glow Drops Banana Split" on all the windows of the house.
And this is how it looks in the dark...Spooky... fun! I really love these "glow in the dark" drops!
I'm submitting this to Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge (Wed.version) and Simon Says Stamps Limited Edition Halloween 2017 Card Kit gallery. This isn't a challenge, just a gallery.
Happy Halloween, Everyone! Have a safe & fun evening!

Happy Easter!
Hi, it's been a while since I posted on my blog. Time surely flies.. and this year, Easter is coming early... so here is my HM Easter Card, the front and inside.
I used the same stamp for the background on the front and inside, with white pigment ink and clear EP, heat set them. Colored the image with Prisma color pencils. Those little carrots are punches, and I used green and orange CS to make the carrots, look like carrots ;) I'm entering this card to House Mouse and Friends Monday challenge Easter
Thank you for visiting my blog today. Hope you'll have a great Easter!
ps. Please don't forget to turn the clock forward before you go to bed this coming Saturday, if your US state has "daylight saving"! :)

4 Bookmarks for Travel the world Bookmark Exchange

Recently I joined this yahoo group, because I read this swap on their blog; Travel the world! Sounded Very Interesting so I joined this yahoo group, to be able to join in the fun of the swap! These haven't been my style, as most of my friends know ~ I luv Cute, Clean, a bit of Fancy... it took me a while to get used to tim holtz Distress ink cuz they weren't bright colors! lol! But I always admired the stampers who luvs to do the Vintage style, Collage, etc, and that was why I've been "following" this blog. It's also nice to get inspired from different perspective. Anyways, I enjoyed making these! They are different! One thing I noticed is that to make a piece like this, it's better to have all kinds of knickknack! lol! You'll never know what comes in handy, to finish the card. When I was deciding what places/cities/countries I want to make the bookmarks of, I could think of US (and Hawaii and guam), Japan, Australia & Germany where I lived long enough to get to know the places, but I don't have enough images for Australia & Germany. When I remember Sydney, Opera House & all different kinds of animals and birds came to my head and I even searched online for digis (so that I can just download right away) but no luck. When I think of Germany, all drinks & food & beautiful buildings/bridges but not enough images to make a card/bookmark. Then I remembered ONE 12x12 paper of the pic. of the collection of Stamps from all over the world, which I bought, like 2 years ago but never had a chance for my card yet. In fact, I was looking for a German postage stamp in there, but instead, I found the Jamaican Stamp!! I lived in Montego Bay for 3 months, so I got to know the place, just a little bit, and remembered Blue Mountain Coffee!! "Coffee/tea" theme has been my fav. for many years so I have those stamps. And other than coffee, I remembered the word; "ya man", and Beautiful beaches, which I have plenty of stamps of, from me living on tropical islands for 12 years. I made Jamaican flag, using the distress inks. I used the distress stickles for sand on both Jamaican & Hawaiian bookmarks. I made my Hawaiian card first. That was easy, from the recent memory. I still remember, being able to watch many turtles on the beach, like a couple of feet away, although this turtle stamp is from Guam. I used glitters on the flowers, incld. on hula dancer's heads. Small plumeria flower & "aloha" are stickers. All stamps for Japanese bookmark is from Posh Impressions' Japanese Collection. I used sakura clear star gel pen for wings of the butterfly, to give a subtle shimmer. It's hard to see it on pic. though... The small nestie label says "Japan" in Japanese, and RED in the middle, to imitate Japanese Flag. Those bubbles are stickers. I used stamps from different companies for US one. I also have many selection of Patriotic stamps. I used "liberty" stamp, trimmed them with stamp edge scissors, and attached them. "D.C" are stickers. So, here you have it! My long post on these 4 bookmarks! Those stickers I used are leftovers from my scrapbooking, which I hardly do, so i don't have that many, and when i found places to put, I was happy :-) Thank you all for visiting my blog & reading this long post! :-) You'll all have a great day! :-) ps. I'm submitting these to Simon Says Stamp and show challenge blog for this week's theme "Tags".
UPDATES; These are the returns I received; from the left Paula Akero, Gerri Herbst, Trisha Too, & Cathy Peper. They are fabulous!! I'm glad I joined in this swap! :-)

HM Valentine's day card for my HM online friend

"She" sent me a very pretty HM Valentine's day card last year, and "she" told me that "she" is expecting my HM Valentine's day card this year! lol ;-) So, here is the card I made for you, Mary Anne! :-) I made this card, having HM & friends' Monday Challenge ("hearts") & Simon Says Stamp Challenge ("love is in the air") in mind. Yes, you can see lots & lots of hearts on this card! I used Glossy accent on the glass bowl & the mice's eyes. I stamped lot of hearts, using old SU!'s set, then heat embossed. I dry embossed the tiny hearts (cuttlebug), and added glitter here & there. I was kind of getting tired of looking at RED hearts on the Valentine's day cards I previously made, and wanted to choose the colors other than red. :-)

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #65 Stars and Stripes

I do buy Pretty Papers once in a while cuz they are very pretty to look at, but hardly ever use them. But this Paper with 4th of July theme really got me into making a card with it! Since the paper has a distress look, i tried to match, and made the whole card, looked distressed. Maybe they can RUN another Stars & Stripes challenge, 6 months from now, and i might use other colors! ;-)

House Mouse Cards for Swaps in February

These are for the swaps i participated, in House Mouse club; One Image Swap ("Berried") and Unused Stamp Swap ("You snooze You lose"). First card, i stamped little butterflies from Penny Black stamp. Those grass are attached with foam adhesive, to give the dimension. Green layer is to give the extension of the greens of the berries, and stamped the leaves. Second card, the openings of the card overlap slightly. Pink Flower Ribbon is attached, and also cut two of those flower from the ribbon, put the gems in the center, attached them by ice cream images. I punched out tiny hearts to embellish, both side of the ribbon. Inside, i attached the same hearts by the saying.
