This is my card for this Sketch. It's hard to see but the background paper has marble design. It doesn't show it in pic. very well though...:-( I luv to make Thank You cards :-)

House Mouse Monday Challenge #73

"Happy Birthday to Miss. America!!" That's the week's theme. I thought i was really DONE with Red, White & Blue, bue when i heard Miss America's name, i had to make ANOTHER one! LOL! but of course, with our lovely Mice! :-) Anyways, Happy Birthday, Miss America!

Happy 4th of July!!

For today's celebration, i made the same cake i made last year, and again, it was a big hit! Here is the pic., and the recipe from Kraft. If you love berries, like i do, you'll love this cake, and for this celebration, it looks good too. Underneath of the white whipped cream, it's the strawberry flavored jello, folding sliced strawberries and blueberries. On the bottom of the cake, it's a layer of pound cake. It's very yummy! Mojo Monday Challege 145

well, well... I thought i made enough 4th of July cards, but i made another one, posted it yesterday, for another challenge cuz it called for Stars and Stripes. I thought that was it! Then, i moved onto another challenge... this weeks Mojo Monday... the challenge is this sketch with a STAR... tomorrow is July 4th, and i HAD TO make ONE MORE! LOL I chose the square one.

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #65 Stars and Stripes

well, i thought i made enough 4th of July cards this year but nah! This challenge calls for Stars & Stripes! I even thought i would make a card with Stars & Stripes with NO red, white & blue colors but i couldn't.... lol... yea, 4th of july is too close to think other colors for Stars & Stripes here, in US! LOL!

I do buy Pretty Papers once in a while cuz they are very pretty to look at, but hardly ever use them. But this Paper with 4th of July theme really got me into making a card with it! Since the paper has a distress look, i tried to match, and made the whole card, looked distressed. Maybe they can RUN another Stars & Stripes challenge, 6 months from now, and i might use other colors! ;-)

PB Saturday Challenge wk107

This week's challenge is Paper Patch. I luv sewing, as well as stamping. Unfortunately i don't have a sewing mashine here, so, i have HAND drawn! lol The PB stamp i used is called "Patchwork Bunny", so perfect! :-) I used Pop dots for a bigger wheel & the bunny, to give a bit of dimention, and used fun flock on it's cotton tail :-)

HM card with mini clothespins , from the past!

I saw this today on Hero Arts blog, the card with mini clothespins. I remembered i made a similar card back in March 2003, using my fav. hero arts stamps; santa's jacket, boots & hat, and i scanned it, saved it in my computer. The card with mouse is what i made. I used white fun flock on fuzzy parts of those three. I made this card, imagining the mouse relaxing on the beach after he helped santa, delivering the presents! I was living on the tropical island back then, so the scene was "the beach", with my fav. palm tree!...pic. is a bit different from other pics on my blog cuz back then, i didn't have a digital camera, but had a scanner. Now i don't have a scanner, but have a digital camera :-) (not a great one, though...)
